I bought the Season 1 Heroes DVDs for my husband for Christmas - we watched the first season when it was on TV and loved it. Now we've watched the whole season again since I gave it to him 2 weeks ago! The DVD also has an unaired pilot episode - a fun surprise! It's a great show with aspects of science fiction entwined in a suspenseful drama - so it's not too "weird." We love it and can't wait for the next season to air!

One of the best TV series of all time -- and commercial free. You have to see the first episodes to
"get it". It was easy to purchase online and pickup in my local store. Fast, easy, and cheap. Of course there is always the option to have it shipped, but I combined the pickup with other shopping.

If you are a fan of Heroes you have to own this dvd set....and for the price you can't go wrong. Packaged arrived in great condition and within the estimated arrival period. Very satisfied with purchase.

It is an incredible show. It is one of my favorite shows of all time (thus far). I'm not going to pretend it's perfect. It isn't. But it's just so darn good I don't care.
I'm amazed at how good the special effects are considering the weekly nature of the show.
Acting is top notch from everybody, especially from HRG (Jack Coleman), Claire (Hayden Panatierre), and Hiro (Can't remember his name right now).
There are a few continuity errors as the writers changed the characters over a season, but are really only noticeable if you watch the episodes one after another. Most of my little niggling criticisms are too integral to the plot to talk about without ruining some of the episodes, so you'll have to read them elswhere.
Except these: Niki is kinda boring in the 2nd half. Mohinder is also boring, especially at the beginning of the series

The greatest cast of characters on a tv show ever. Sylar is the best and most interesting character ever created. You must buy this box set. Once you watch this season you will be hooked for life.

WHAT AN AWESOME SHOW. THE WRITERS ARE IN A LEAGE OF THEY'RE OWN. THIS SHOW GIVES HOPE THAT JUST MABEY, SOMEWHERE OUT THERE, THERE ARE "HEROS" JUST LIKE THEY ARE. PEOPLE WITH GIFTS THAT ACTUALLY HELP OTHERS. I LOVE THIS SHOW AND I AM SO HAPPY TO OWN IT. WE HAVE SO MANY HEROS NOW THAT ARE SERVING IN IRAN AND IRAQ KEEPING US SAFE THAT NO ONE CAN COMPARE WITH, AND THAT IS WHAT THIS MOVIE KEEPS IN US. HOPE AND FAITH.

The best show on t.v. The best group of characters ever on a t.v. show. Plus Mohinder and Parkman are so awesome and handsome, I love them both. A must see box set.
