HoMedics SoundSpa Lullaby With Picture Projection

This is a perfect noise machine! The picture projection is a great bonus. This machine is a great buy, I have already recommended this to other mothers I know. If you are looking for a noise machine, pick this one!

Purchased this after being at Baby R' Us and they had a machine that only made white noise, looked cheap and cost $10 more than this. The unit is small but projects a great image onto the wall or ceiling. It's absolutely worth your while.

I have a baby of 8 months, she is been having problems going to sleep, and even bigger problem was for me. Since i have the HoMedics SoundSpa Lullaby With Picture Projection my baby falls asleep magicly in less than 10 min. (while having her bottle, looks a the images, listen to the music). this product is excelent.

This is a great item to help little ones go to sleep on their own. My son is three and still enjoys watching the moving pictures on his ceiling. However I have bought four of these in three years. They just don't last long if they work at all. I just returned this last one because right out of the box the volume control didn't work. The other three the projector quit working. Also after awhile they develope a loud squeeking noise.

I had borrowed one of my friends Homesonics before I purchased this one. I liked hers so much I decided to get this one. I had a Fisher Price one and it was not nearly has nice as this one. It could not be used on cathedral ceilings and this one can be. The pictures are very clear and the unit has a setting in which you can adjust the brightness. The pictures go around in a circle, they do not fade in and out which I like because I like to keep a consistant light scheme in the room. There are three discs but I tend to only use the nighttime one. Sometimes I think that I enjoy watching this projector more than my 9 month old daughter when I am rocking her. She seems to enjoy the sounds the best. You have the option of using the sounds or the projector or both. The projector is bright enough to be used as a nightlight. It lights up my child's crib which I thought might be a problem but it is not. Since I have gotten this my child has been sleeping better at night. The only complaint I have is that when the unit is in projection mode it can be a little loud but can be drowned out by the sound selections if they are turned up. However, I do not like the sounds to be too loud so I deal with the noise. I like this unit so much I think I am going to buy more for future baby showers. It is very complact and will fit on a small end table. It will not attach to a crib. It is great for traveling. The projector can be swiveled so that you can shine it on the ceiling or even on a wall. One complaint I had read stated that the unit gets hot when left on for a long time. The unit has time settings or you can leave it on continuously. I leave mine on for at least 12 hours every night and it has never gotten hot. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.
It also can run on batteries or plug in. My three year old even wants one because he thinks it is neat to watch.

I bought this product online.When i got this product i used it for a total of 5min. then projector went out. I would not recommend this product

I was soooo excited to receive this sound machine, when I ordered it online. I brought it home, used it 3 NIGHTS and it started making a "clicking" like noise. Other reviews I've read said that the "projection" motor was making this type of noise, but I completely turned the projection part off, and it was making the same noise while the music played. It is a low noise that can be heard at times, then it stops for awhile, and then starts AGAIN!!! I am VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! I would think that this product would be made more efficiently and better than this. Especially that it is made by Homedics!!! My 2 year old daughter loves it. But, I AM NOT happy with this purchase.

Ordered this to ship to an out-of-state niece for her new baby. She loves it and wishes she'd had one for her 3yr-old twins when they were babies. She says the sound quality is very good, and she especially likes the directional feature that allows you to not just have to have it pointed straight up. I would buy this again for a baby gift; good price, and ordering from WalMart.com allows you to have it shipped elsewhere without having to ship it yourself.

DONT BUY.....the projector start making so much noise i could hear it from my bedroom and this also happen to my friends projector and then her's just stop all together. Maybe it was just mine or her's but it is strange it happen to both and were bought 6 months apart from each other......i returned mine
