Even though this kitchen is supposed to be for ages 2 and up, I bought it for my daughter's first brithday and she loves it. When we first gave it to her she played with it for hours! It didn't take my husband too long to put it together and it seems to be of good quality.

I bought this kitchen for my daughter's 2nd birthday. I started to put it together with just a regular screwdriver and found many of the holes not pre-drilled. Do not attempt to put this together without a power drill. I used my husband's drill and it went together pretty good. You also need a small screwdriver to install batteries. Once I got it together my daughter started playing with it immediately. I think she will have many years of use out of this product.

Well made and faily easy to put together. Has a cute phone and one burner makes a boiling water sound when you place a pot on it. My 2 year old grandsons love playing with it. I thought it was just a little pricey, but still think it was worth it.

In doing research I called Step2 and found out that this particular "maroon" version does NOT come with electronic keypads for the oven and microwave but can be purchased through the manufacturer for a few bucks (they do come on the green version). It does have the burner that makes noise though. So my plan is to buy this cherry one that I love and then transplant the electronic keypads onto it as I put it together, instead of the boring decal pieces. Hope this info helps someone like me who wishes this kitchen would do more!

My daughter received this kitchen for her 2nd birthday and she really loves it! It took a little bit to put together, although it wasn't hard to do. It came with so many food pieces of food, that I put half of them up for later when they may "get lost.", and there are still plenty for her to play with. The noises are great, and I love that all the appliances open. She loves it!!! Great value!

This kitchen was purchased online with ship to store option. Arriving in plenty of time for the Birthday. My kids both love it, especially my 4 yr. old daughter which it was bought for. ALL the neighborhood kids play with it, even the 9 year old down the street. It is fairly simple to put together, except you will need a power drill to put in a couple screws which are not pre-drilled. It says on package drill optional, but you will probably need it to do a few of the longer screws. It is still pretty simple to do, and well worth the time to put toghether.

I bought this kitchen and the 101 piece play food set for my daughter's 2nd B-day...she loves it. It was easy to put together and very reasonably priced. It's compact, yet still has all the components bigger play kitchens have. I would definitely recomend this to anybody looking for a product like this.

The ONLY complaint i have is when we were putting this together we were short some screws and they neglected to drill some holes, fortunately Jack was there to muscle the screws through the plastic. My grand daughter just loves "working" in her new kitchen.

This was very easy to assemble, a pleasant surprise!! It is great for small spaces, it's a very compact little kitchen but manages to still be realistic and functional. My only complaint is the fridge and microwave doors are quite hard to open. I am going to try and lubricate the hinge area and see if that helps, otherwise I am hoping that they ease with use. Also, it's a shame that the microwave control panel doesn't have real buttons that beep...would have been a real plus. The electronic burner is great. All in all it's a great value and my granddaughter is going to love it...she will get it in two weeks for her 2nd birthday.

This kithcen is really nice. I think it is worth it for the money and my daughter (1) loves it. She loves to pretend cook and her brother (5) enjoys it too. My daughter is a little young since she is only 1, but she still loves to pretend with it. It gets played with everyday multiple times. Its very cute and realistic looking. I compared it to the other models in the step 2 brand and felt that for the price it was just right. I would definitley buy it again.

This kitchen meets my expectations because it was easy to put together, it looks cute, and my child loves it. I had previously shopped at ToysRUs for kitchens before checking at Wal-Mart.com and I found this kitchen to be nicer and of better value than anything that I found at ToysRUs. I would recommend this product to other families.

My kids, ages 3 yrs and 19 months, have lots of fun "cooking" on their new kitchen. I especially appreciate that it was fairly easy to assemble - I would recommend using a drill. I did consider buying a bigger, more expensive play kitchen, but I'm glad I chose this one instead. I'm sure my kids would have been equally happy with either one.
