The Secret of NIMH is an animated movie of the same vein as Watership Down. It presents real life situations of hardship, perserverance, and family in a fantasy format.
I would easily recomend this film for all ages. HOWEVER i would strongly recomend a parent watch it with any young children for the first time. There are some fairly scary moments in the movie.

I bought this because I remembered watching it when I was little. After watching it now, I cant believe that I was allowed to. One of the mice said a curse word. And it was just plain scarry. I turned it off way before it was over and threw it away. Not worth my money. And I dont want my kids seeing it.
