Lasko 18" Adjustable Cyclone Pedestal Fan

Puts out a lot more air than I expected. Cheap and it works well. Two cons are the pole comes right out of the base, so when you move it you need to scoot it. I put a bit of liquid nails in the pole hole and now the pole stays put. It's also made out of plastic, so if you knock it over some plastic will break in the fan guard and you'll have to add some cable ties to hold it in place (happened to me). Would buy it again, though.

I purchased this fan to redistribute the heat from my wood burning stove from one room to another.
By being able to adjust the hight and direction, it makes it possible for me to move heat from my living room to my den. Since I only use it when I build a fire, the light weight and quiet features makes it easy for me to move when not in use.
A solid unit, but sometimes when I do move the fan, the bottom pole comes out of the base.

I purchased this fan during the summer with the intentions of running it in the middle of the day to give my AC a break. It worked fantastic the first month and a half. Also, the rotating mechanism ceased working. The adjuster wouldn’t keep the fan in the up position either. Now the fan blows, just not as hard. If you are looking for something that’s maybe for a large get together or outside on the lanai, this will do. But to help you get some cool air for a prolonged period, look elsewhere.

Easy to assemble, great value, QUIET (I can hardly hear it running) Never needed anything but the low speed setting, since it is so powerful.

Exactly what I was looking for. I use it year round, mostly for noise. And it is noisy. Easy to assemble, too.

Fan is very quiet, and is a bit larger than I had expected. Though it is large, it still is quiet, which is good. It gets the job done, and I am considering buying another for a different room. I like the height and the large diameter. It is plastic, but for the price, it is a good deal.

I brought this fan as just laid off from work so price was great. It worked well beyond my expectations and I have not had to use an air conditioner at all this summer cause it cools my bedroom off in no time. The noise on high does not bother me at all as I sleep with tv on and my fan is next to it.
