i put this on a winchester top eject 30 30 so i had to use side mounts. i used weaver mounts for it. i was able to set it up and sight it in with a bore sighter in about 30 min. the view is good, the amount of light it lets in is great. i can hit my target at 100 yds. right on. i had looked at more expensive scopes but this one had it all for the price. i only hunt to feed us some, not for a career.

I put this item on my .22 rifle and it was very hard to sight it in. I thought Bushnell made a better scope than this, butt when i sighted it in it has stayed on for a while now.

My new Bushnell had very wide open bright optic lens. I am amazed by the 9 power, it pick up clear and bright. The only complaint I have is, the scope was not even close to being sighted in at 100 yards, way off. But I had fun sighting it in.
