Very difficult getting started with this mp3 player. It would not work on either of my 2 desk top pc's, I worked with tech support 3 times and still could not get it to work. Finally I tried it on my Laptop and it recognized it but all my music was on my pc's, so I had to transfer my music to Laptop and then Sync to my player. The player has great sound once I finally go it going ..................... but what's with the ear trumpets???????? The ear set was next to useless, no one has a ear big enough for them. I threw them away and bought some ear bud type that would fit my ears.

I love using this product, the sound and picture quality is fabulous! However, it lacked instructions for connecting to and using with my computer. The website wasn't very helpful either.

This a very good product. I like it because you have a bigger screen and the same amount of storage as the iPod Nano, but $30 cheaper. Sometimes it freezes but give it 30 seconds it will start working. I would recommend this product

At first the SANSA was very nice, beautiful picture easy to handle, great sound quality, etc. However when it comes to life expectency it just doesnt cut it. Ive had 2 of these in the past 2 years and the reason for replacement is the same, curruption. The first one I had for about a year and one day it showed little blocks where the charaters should be. I took it back to the store from which I bought it and they told me that it was currupt. The second one is a little differnt. Ive had it for about a year also and it still works but only will download certain music, such as from the CD. But not downloaded music, even from Itunes. It was a very nice Mp3 at first, but just doent last past a year.

This is my second Sansa SanDisk MP3 Player. I previously had one that I had worn out and it only had 250GB. I really liked the features of these so much more than the Ipods and other MP3's available on the market. There is only 2 negative comments I will make. The first is, as it was with the 1st one I bought, I found the User Instructions to be horrible. I had to guess at what to do and then I ended up calling their Support Phone Line, which was thankfully helpful! Second, for such a great product, their earphones are not! I always end up buying another pair of better quality.

I bought this because I don't like the licensing stuff. You can just drag and drop from the file manager or use Window's Media Player or Rhapsody, but Rhaposody has the "licensing stuff". I'm not a music criminal, I buy CDs then rip them into my computer. Some licensing programs converted my files and then decided that some of them were illegal, (THEY WEREN'T!!)-and disabled the music files!!! I have to use a system restore to fix things.

Bought this item for myself (to watch movies on) after having Sansa m230 for about 2 yrs. This is lightyears ahead of it. The video graphics are excellent for small screen. The 8G can hold alot of movies once converted to WAV. You do have to buy the armband seperately--bummer. But the menus are easy to navigate and options easy to use. Lastly, Sansa still outdoing iPod by having voice recorder and radio functions. Just go buy one and enjoy!!!

Whether I had a bad experience, with 2 players or I am technically challenged, I personally would not suggest this player. The first Sansa came from online and once charged it would not stop "connecting." Couldn't get a menu to appear, couldn't shut off. Obviously I am thinking defect, return to the store, get another and the player is doing the exact same thing. I did return the 2nd player and ended up with the Sony NWZ-S616F and so far I am totally happy, much less and the sound is great!

i've had this mp3 player for a couple of months and it worked just great. it met all my expectations such as video quality, adio, pictures, radio, recording, except for one. the screen. the screen was mainly the reason i bought the player. you can't find a 128 dollar mp3 player with a large 2.4in screen. it was a great screen, just not durablile. one day i had the player in my back pocket and i sat on a hard wood chair and the lcd (not plastic cover)screen cracked a little then turned white. its a great mp3 player as long as you dont sit on it or bend it. its thin and wide so it flexes and messes up the screen. the screen can be easily replaced, but very hard to find. i would recomond the sansa e200 series. i had one of those for over a year and used it about every day for hours and it lasted me so long and im a teenager. had it until it was stolen and then i bought the view which only lasted 3 months.

This isnt the first Sansa Mp3 player that we have had, and this isnt the first complaint that we have given. The screen freezes up on this all the time, we took it back, got a new one, same thing. His g/f got one for graduation as well and it does the same thing. Sansa's are a good price for the product that you are buying but what does that really matter if it is always broken. He finally took it back and bought a Zune, I will let you know how that one works after he has had if for a while. Good Luck if you have purchased one of these and if you havent, choose something else or be let down.

When buyin a MP3 player you need to factor in what you want it for. I have friends who use there's daily and some not as often. Some friends have 1000's of songs others not as many. This product has MORE than enough storage for an MP3 player, so it could work for ANYONE and honestly what are you gonna do with a 30+ gig Ipod?? run for days??? sit on your couch and watch movies instead of the TV?? most of the time you get what you pay for and this goes beyond its price, the screen size, the colors, its specs.... you cant beat it. Also, you DO NOT have to install ANYTHING to your computer, just plug it in an run windows media player, the click and drag option can be no easier. This thing is awesome.

This my first mp3 device and so far I love it! I was looking into mp3 players but wanted to avoid the expensive iPods, which don't have the FM Radio feature that I wanted. I was inicially attracted to this item for its capacity, features and good price. Now I needed to know if this was a good product or not. I read the reviews at several sites, including this one, and since most were complementary, I decided to go ahead and buy it. Don't regret it. The first thing I did after getting it, was read every booklet with instructions that came with it as well as the manual that I downloaded from the Sansa site. Piece of cake! I also downloaded the Sansa Media Converter exe to be able to upload videos and photos. So far I'm not disappointed at all. I knew there's no installation CD included, but there's no need for it. I was able to connect the device both to my PC at work (w/Windows XP) and the one at home (Vista) without the least problem. I synched it to WMP, was able to copy my playlists, upload music, delete it (both from the PC and directly from the player). So far, I haven't had any problems with the player itself or the battery. The only thing I haven't been able to do is upload videos. I get an error that the format is not supported (even if I try to upload a *.wmv file). Maybe I lack a codec or something. Oh, and it shows fingerprints quite easily.

i found that after having this product for 5 months that, it freezes somewhat often. but it just blacks out and it is all good. other than that it is a very good product for the price. i beleive they will overtake the IPOD... someday.
