Bissell QuickSteamer Lightweight Deep Cleaner

I am pleased with the performance of this product. Good price.

I rated all the other categories as a one which is a bit unfair as it did a nice job cleaning our carpets at a decent price. But, this product did not last a year under normal use (we have one 3 yr old, two cats, one dog, and 3 rooms, steam cleaned maybe once every 3 months - the rooms not the 3 yr old, etc.!). The motor/pump has an intermittent bind and there is clearly nothing in the pump/impeller area. All the other categories really doesn't matter when the product does not work at all. Terrible durability!

I will never buy this product again and will not tell anyone else to. my mom had one, didnt last long i thought it might be because she didnt always use carpet cleaner in it. for the price its great, so i got one, didnt even last a year. i took very good care of mine, and the motor just burnt up, i used it once every two weeks on just one carpet. lesson learned, just cause the price is right don't mean the machine is.

This little machine is very inexpensive and does a good job cleaning. It does not have all the bells an whistles the more expensive machines have, but you don't need those things if you only need to clean your carpet on occasion.

Get a more expensive machine if you are a carpet cleaning fanatic (I'm not) or if most of your house is carpeted (too much work and the cleaning part is not very wide). There's also no upholstery attachment (I didn't need that).

For simple jobs, this is fine. My condo is mostly tile, but upstairs all three bedrooms are carpeted, and this machine worked fine and got up 90% of the dirt and spots. I was shocked and how well it did-- I had forgotten that my carpet was such a light colored beige since it all got dirty at the same rate.

There was one major stain where I had the air cleaning maching that was partially still there though, even after going over that spot 10+ times and using a spot remover. But, it did great with everything else, including messes from dogs that had been there for almost a year.

Very easy to put together or to take apart to rinse-- you basically put in two included screws and you're set. The tanks for the cleaning solution or the dirty water solution aren't very big-- for a 12x10 bedroom with very dirty carpet I probably had to empty/change those things 5 times. Next time it will be less since I will have far fewer stains.

For the compact size and the cleaning power you cannot beat this machine. First let me say NO spinning brush is a GOOD thing. Professional cleaners will tell you how HORRIBLE scrub brushes and rotating brushes are! They tear the fibers causing your carpet to actually soak in stains quicker. This is NOT a professional machine. You can clean the whole house with it it it takes forever as it is compact and about half the size of bigger cleaners. but for spot cleaning it works GREAT. Though i do clean the whole house with it ever other month lol. this is great for in between professional cleanings, toddler spills, pets and guests. You will get your moneys worth I promise but if you want a professional machine then pay professional prices lol. also the biggest advice.. GO SLOW.. take your time sucking the water up. Pull the machine as slow as you possibly can and it will suck up almost all the water, it will barely feel damp!

This is an awesome carpet cleaner! I have 2 kids, 2 dogs, a cat, and a husband- so I get A LOT of use out of this! I just wish that it came with a hose. Other than that, it's a great value for the price.

I was skeptical of buying this because of the reviews. I made sure I was going to be able to return it if I didn't like it. I think that when writing a review people should include the color carpet they have in their house because I have an off white color and this cleaner did nothing to the spots in my carpet. I have 2 kids, no pets and we take our shoes off at the door. We also just moved in here a few weeks ago, so these spots weren't old. All we had were spill spots from where the kids would drop sippy cups. I cleaned a few spots and nothing came up so I returned this to Wal-Mart and got a Bissel ProForce PowerSteamer and I love it!! It is a little more, but it really works!!! I used it and went over the same spots I did with this one and you wouldn't believe the difference!! Don't waste your time on this lightweight cleaner. The brush doesn't spin and there is no heat. Just suction.

Lightweight. Easy to use . Easy to clran. Works great, What more could you want.

Bissel has again designed a fantastic carpet cleaner that is so easy to use and does a great job. The carpet cleaner is lightweight and does the job of a commercial cleaner without strenuous effort. My clarpets are clean and look great. I would reccomend it highly to anyone.
