This cleaner is not fancy, it doesn't even have a water heating mechanism, however it does a great job cleaning my light beige carpet.

I have a small apartment and have to change the tank halfway through the job.

I would recommend this for small jobs, and a quick clean up after vacuuming.

We live in a small home and have a small area of carpet to clean. Having little kiddies and pets...this machine really did the trick! No more calling the carpet cleaning pros...I'm a pro now! I have found this product goes well if you take your time. The slower I went over the wet carpet; the more it suctioned. I am going to tell all my mom friends about this cleaner. Why waste your money on a huge bulky machine!

First steamer that not only did a good job but didn't leave a wet mess on the carpet. Cleaning the machine is a snap. I spot cleaned the carpet using the machine with no prespotting though it is recommended. It does a very good job removing spots. I can't believe I am looking at a renewed carpet!!

I loved this machine because it's lightweight and easy to handle, I could do it myself. Also did a great job of removing cat hair and dirt from my carpets. It will need to be refilled more often than the bigger cleaners, but that wasn't a problem for me. I don't know about durability yet, as I've only used it once.

I really liked the looks of the steam mops but couldn't bare to pay the price for our kitchen and small bathrooms. With the hard floor attachments this works great. One of our bedrooms has had everything from ducks to Labradors in it. After using a store rented machine some spots never came out, which I expected. With lots of patients and an afternoon to pretreat most of them came out with this product. I found mixing Publix or Walmart store brand with the OxyClean Pet Booster works great.

I was a little hesitant to get this carpet cleaner considering it was at the lowest price point at my local Walmart Supercenter.
I have not been disappointed. I have a 14 year old Chow Mix pup. She occasionally has to go in the middle of the night... At first, she was going in a corner in the living room.
Using this Bissell and the Great Value Pet Carpet Solution with a tad of bleach, has completely eliminated any evidence of her having gone there.
I have since taught her to go on the bathroom floor when she needs too- I placed a sponge with her urine on it there. And, you know what, the Bissell works great on linoleum too!
Now I shampoo sections of the carpet every week. I can now walk around in socks, and they don't get dirty, and I never mop anymore either!

I love this rug cleaner it really cleaned my carpet great! I have carpet that is only 7 months old but I couldn't believe the dirt it got up and I do have a dog too, it really surprised me I've only had it a week so I couldn't mark a 5 on durability yet but I will sometime later I was just shocked at how well it cleaned my rugs. It is really great for the price!

This product is great for small jobs....there is no beater brush and there is no attachment for hard floors....easy to assemble and use...just not what I expected......kind-of disappointed.............

The Bissell QuickSteamer Lightweight Deep Cleaner is just that--it cleans carpets quick and easily and does a great job. It's so lightweight anyone can use it. This is my second one and wouldn't use anything else and you can't beat the price. I'm buying one for my daughter for the holidays.

This is a good product if you are strapped for money and want to make sure your rugs stay clean. However, it does not have any attachments, it only seems to clean the area that looked clean anyway.

BOUGHT THIS CLEANER (NOT A STEAMER) YESTERDAY & SO FAR MY HUSBAND HAS CLEANED 1 ROOM & HALLWAY. IT IS LIGHT WEIGHT & DOES A GOOD JOB. I did quite a bit of research before purchasing this product. I compared information between steamers and shampooers vs cost and decided to try it. I love this product. I appreciate that it isn't overly heavy or bulky. It does everything it claims to do. It was very simple to put together. A few screws and the rest snaps together. It literally took only a few minutes to assemble. The included cleaning solution smells wonderful and does a fantastic job. It did as good a job as the store rented model that I used last time I cleaned my carpets with much less hassle. It has good suction thus removes most of applied cleaning solution and dirt. The machine cleans up easily after use and doesn't take much storage space. It is a welcome edition to my home.

I have tried the small carpet cleaners and none of them worked well. This little guy scooped up 16 ounces of red Chrystal Lite in minutes! It's light weight and wheels around easily. Finally something "old" people like me will use it happily!

The shampooer worked great on high traffic areas; lightweight and easy to set up; the only thing i think i would recommend is if you need it fast invest in higher shipping costs. we did not need it immediately but it still took a while to get here...of course it is alaska but i HATE site who do not ship here...great walmart!

I bought this on 10/7/08 and used it the next day. I was very surprised how much this machine got my rugs cleaned.
I had rented a steam cleaner before but it was heavy and hard to use. This is so light-weight and very easy to use and clean. I will continue to use this every week.
I can't wait to try it on my upholstery.

We used this product to clean carpet in a rental property. The "deep cleaner" title isn't appropriate. While the cleaner did remove a lot of dirt, grime, and other ickyness from the carpets. It didn't do much for stains and high traffic areas. We didn't see any change on the stained areas. Perhaps the product would be better if the brushes moved, but they don't. The only "brushing" action you get is from pushing the cleaner back and forth.

We're buying one with mechanical brushes that'll clean better. If you're just looking to refresh unstained not-so-dirty carpet, it might work for you. If you have stained and dirty carpet, get a cleaner with mechanical brushes.

I use this product to clean the carpets in my apartment. I have two small children, and we moved into an apartment with old, smoky, dog hairy carpet. Works great, not too loud, easy to clean machine when I'm done. I love it. Used it the other day when my son spilled a cup of apple juice on the carpet, it sucked it right up and cleaned the spot. Can't tell there was a spill. I clean my carpets with it every 2-3 weeks. Doesn't take long to use either, it's like getting out the vacuum.
