Bissell SpotBot Pet Compact Deep Cleaner

I have a Bissell upright carpet cleaner for rooms/large areas, but whenever my pets have an accident or there is a stain my upright can't clean I sick my Bissell SpotBot Pet Spot cleaner on it. So far it hasn't failed me. It does eat up solution (which is expensive) but it cleaned so well that I started playing around with the solution dilution and have figured out that I get just as good results with a 1/2 solution. The only spot I ever had trouble with came out after pre-treating with the company's Oxy product and letting it sit for about 10 minutes first. The Spot Bot does leave the area wetter than it should, but that is easily remedied by using the hose to suck up the extra fluid afterwards. The hose is easily cleaned by sucking up a 1/2 sink-full of water afterwards. Even stains that had been set in for months came out with the surface cleaning option (rather than the deeper cleaning option which takes twice as long and uses more solution.) I'd recommend this to anyone with pets!

Sorry..but I don't think it works very well. I bought it because I am Disabled and sometimes my 2 dogs don't get out in time. The machine takes to much cleaning formula (which is costly) and still does not bring up the spot and odor.

Worked so well I was surprised. Cleaned better than my regular steam cleaner. Easy to use, just walk away and it handles the rest.

Works well, easy to use. We have a puppy so it has come in handy. The only complaint I have it that it leaves the carpet too wet, but I have thick carpet.

I had the earlier version of this and it broke due to so much use with dogs, cats and kids! I bought this one because it seems heavier duty and made for pets. Without this machine I would have paid a fortune for carpet cleaners every other month due to housebreaking etc. My carpets still look just like new after using this product as long as you use the Oxygen cleaner with it!

Bought this product on the recomendation of a co-worker. Used it twice and loved it. Third time it was used it didn't suck up the cleaning solution. Was difficult to get problem cleared up. Ended up returning it and bought another product

After a full day of use on various spots around my house, old and new, I am very pleased with my Bissell SpotBot. I was impressed with how easy it was to get started cleaning and love that I can start it and walk away. The pet spots are gone, even an old unidentified spot which came with the house a year ago is gone. The old one I treated twice with the OxyGen2 cleaner. The hand attachment worked very well also for smaller, spatter spots. I even used the hand attachment on the sofa cushions with good results. On the down side - it was a little more expensive than I wanted and the cleaning solution is expensive and doesn't seem to go very far.

I just bought this lastnight because my son got sick on his mattress and my carpet. I used it first thing today and I am happy with the results. However, I do have a small issue with this product. My only issue is the cleaning tank should either be bigger or use less cleaning solution. After you go through two cleaning cycles you have to fill the tank back up, and by the fourth you have to empty the dirty tank. This isn't a big big deal, just a pain. I would recommend reading the troubleshooting section of the instructions if you start to have trouble with this product. It kept turning off on me after the first half hour of use. If the clean tank gets to low it will shut off, and if the dirty tank gets above the fill line you will not have any suction and it will make a weird noise. I do like the fact that it was easy to use right out of the box. Just fill the clean tank, plug it in, and push the button. It takes 3 minutes on the surface stain button, and 6 minutes on the set in stain button. I really liked the maunual scrubber and used it to clean up my sons brand new mattress and it did a great job. The set in stain cycle did a great job on my carpets as well. My son spilled milk on the carpet last year, and it did a great job of cleaning it up. All the reviews are correct. You need to buy a big bottle of the cleaning solution because you will only get two cleaning cycles with the trial size bottles that come with the Spotbot. Other than the constant refilling of the machine I am really pleased with it.

I have only used this product twice and it performed beautifully! Having 5 dogs and a cat it will be used frequently. I did end up ordering a base to sit it in from Bissell, it either leaked or took a long time to dry after using it. I have not decided which yet. I did not seem to be missing any of the cleaning fluid so I am leaning towards it having taken a while for the brush to dry. So do not sit it anywhere it will hurt to be wet after you have used it. I was very nice to not have to get down on the floor and scrub the carpet. It is a little noisy, but no noisier than the Little Green Clean Machine we had been using.
