I bought one for my daughter -she is 22- for Xmas and she is very pleased with it. Batterie life is tremendous. She used it for several days trying to empty it without success. Sound quality is excellent but this is pretty usual on a Philips product.

I love my product have had it since November and absolutely love it holds more than i would ever imagine in fact my friends 13 yr old daughter loved it too and i just ordered her one! Only downfall is there are not to many acessories for it! Battery life last a really long time!

I found this product to be great. I got it for 2 of my daughters (13 & 11 years Old) They both love it. As for the downloading of music we do not have any problems, the battery lasts a long time. We have even stored photos on both players and they look great. I beileve this to be good for any age group. And it has gone down in price since I purchased both.

This MP3 player is most definitely NOT worth the money. I was up until midnight fooling with it. Never would be recognized by my PC. No support for it on Philips website. I am returning tomorrow and purchasing a Sony. Dont buy this product you will be disappointed.

Great Player at a Great Price,

I tried many of the other products on the market. IPOD, RCA, Creative, Sansa....... This player exceeded my expectations. The software went in smoothly in both Windows XP SP2 and Windows Vista. The installation directions are easy enough that my 5 year old installed it on his XP SP2 machine. The sound quality is above average. The Video is excellent and I am very picky when it comes to video. The menu system is easily navigated. Windows media player 11 does an excellent job syncing the audio files and did a fair job converting my video files but I prefer to use other software to convert my own video files. Media player is more than adequate. The few things I wish were stronger are the video control and Screen size. Battery life and recharge time is excellent. I run my unit for two hours before I fall asleep and it is still playing when I wak up even when I am watching videos. Putting in fast foward capability and a larger screen would make it a perfect unit. The video playback and video sharpness makes it well worth doing without. This is an awesome product and I will look into getting a large storage capasity version of this same unit. It would be worth buying a 30 - 80 GB version of this unit!!! I did not experience one Problem yet. I highly reccomend this unit!!!!!

Lot of errors,

Seemed like a good buy for the money but lot's of errors, and after an error it deletes all files stored on player, also the software is buggy and will error telling you "not enough space" to even store a small 80mb vido with 3.5 gigs empty!, the player will only play WMV video files and the converter takes forever to convert (Overnight) on a fast computer! the USB plug take a lot of force to plug in and unplug from the player, i do not see it lasting to long before it breaks, if you use it strictly for music it may be ok, but then why did we pay for the large screen? This one is going back, and i am going to try a differant brand, very disapointed in this player.

The product is real good, but I couldnt sync songs from windows media player because of the video player so I had to use yahoo music jukebox and i dont like music jukebox

i bought THREE. one is nothing but a time waster. when i auto synchronize, it zaps all the music off. the other two seems to work just fine. have tried "repair". middle child, i guess... nothing but a headache!!

This Phillips model is a good mp3 player. It is stylish, has good battery life, and provides good quality music. I had problems with other mp3 players I purchased (Sansa products), but this one worked well with Windows Media Player, downloading all my music and playlist files.
The store version advertising of this player was wrong . . . it said the player used a AAA battery. The unit actually uses an internal battery, so be careful if this if it's important to you.
