Comfortabilty and safety are what matters most. The brite led flashing light and contour seat make this a nice product. All seats should have the reflector as a manditory accessory.

I wanted to kill 2 birds with one stone. I bought the $89 NEXT POWER X 26" dual suspension mountain bike (haha...NO mountains in New Orleans) and it's original seat was like sitting on a chipped up brick! Although the previous reviewer stated how it can become wet and dry quickly, there are covers, as well as GEL covers that could add comfort (and water resistance). The 7 red LED's are quite bright, although they simply flash on and off and not side to side, which is fine. Unlike other add on rear "blinkies", this one is "turn it on and forget it"! SAVES battery life with motion sensor. If you leave it on, you never have to worry about forgetting to have turned it on. When parked, it stops, when moving it flashes! GREAT product! Perhaps hit it with SCOTCH-GUARD and it will be "water repellent" as well! :)

The seat is very comfortable and easily installed to replace original Fuji touring equipment. I liked flashing light safety feature that can be turned on/off with switch under seat, and it's motion-activated when set to "on" status, and shuts off after time when not in use. The ergonomic shape and gel padding was utlra comfortable after initial 14+ miles of riding and my posterior felt much better too. I highly recommend Bell - BriteRide Lighted Seat. The price was great too! I'm a very satisfied customer and my friends want to purchase same model to replace their seats! I hope you enjoy yours too.

This seat is great because the light flashes and can be seen from far away. The seat is comfortable. Although the seat is fabric so it will get wet, I was amazed at how quickly it dries. This seat is great if you often ride at night.
