Lexmark X2500 Multifunction Printer

This machine offers so much for such a small amount of money. It prints clearly, it scans and photocopies clearly and easily. If you photocopy even a little per year at 50cents a page, you would more than pay for this in no time.

My only negative about this machine is they do not make it clear that the USB cord needed is not enclosed, nor is it clear which kind you need for it.

I recieved my printer a couple of days after I ordered it online. Very fast shipping I might say. I have been very pleased with my printer so far. It prints, scans and makes copies, even color ones, very nice. I am very happy with it and would recomend it to anyone. A good value for the price. Reverend Jeff

This printer did not come with a USB plug or with black ink. These additional purchases erased the extra value expected when we choose this printer.

It doesn't include a black ink cartridge, or connector cable from computer to printer--more money needed!!!
the software install was not easy and I have an amd chip.
You can not print in black ink only.
Please do not even think about buying this. I took it back to the store and got a HP all in one for $24.00 and l love it. the HP was recommended by a clerk at the store and when I got to work that evening and told a co-worker about the new HP printer she said her brother had one and loved it. lol

The LexMark X 2500 is an outstanding value, and exceedingly versatile. It is especially handy in my home office with printing, scanning and copying right close at hand.

The only item which might be addressed is advising buyers that only a color ink cartridge (and no black) is furnished with the printer (and prominently stipulating that only a color cartridge is required for operation). I had to make a call to LexMark customer service to find this out

I picked up this printer, scanner, fax machine for $35. The print quality is excellent. Speed is very acceptable. Had problems with the software installation until I disabled my anti-virus software. Ink cartridges are readily available (both OEM and aftermarket). Cartridge prices, as usual, are a bit high.

its a pretty good printer. does what i want it to. I had another one just like it before i ordered this one but my baby stuck something down inside and completly messed it up, i liked the first one so well that i ordered another. it works well with vista too. and its cheap on ink.

This product is perfect, and does all that it says it will. Cheap cartridges, and uses not much ink. Scanning comes out clear and precise. Many options for scanning, and printing, great programs for pics, compatible with vista with no problems.
Highly recommend. It has a fax option to send fax over the internet, but I didn't need a fax so I didn't bother trying it out. This can be used without a computer, and gives instructions for setting it up without a pc. Great for the price, no complaints, except it is a lot larger than the last on I owned and still trying to get used to it. The size is exactly as it says on the spec, I measured, but it just looks bigger because the top is white. Love it.
