I have used this floor cleaner on tile and grout floors and it does a great job. Easy to use, lightweight and yet I am very impressed with its performance. The floors are much cleaner than before because the machine is actually able to get into the nooks and crannies of the tile surface. They look and actually feel smoother on your bare feet than ever before. Great product! I would also recommend the cleaning solution which has a very fresh, clean smell that is not overpowering. Well worth the money.

Horrible For Laminate Floors

I wanted to like this so much. I have 3200 SF of laminate floors with kids and pets. I thought this would be a nice solution for me. I will admit that the vacuum part picked up pretty nicely. But, the steam part was a disaster. It got the floor SOPPING wet and the dry function did not really dry it quickly or completely. Plus, with my dark floors it was tricky to see the wet areas that weren't completely dry. If you have laminate, you know that the floor isn't supposed to be very wet for very long. I have been using a steam mop and that made the floors only slightly damp for a very short time and had been working relatively well for me. But, I wanted to try something new because I saw the commercials and thought it might make my floors super clean. I am going back to the steam mop. And even putting aside the sopping wet floor issue, my floors didn't appear (or feel on my feet) any cleaner than with my steam mop method. Plus, this thing is very heavy. Finally, once I put the thing in my laundry room, with it turned off, it continued to leak water. I might have gotten a dud unit, but I'm not trying again. It was just too heavy and the finished result wasn't that impressive. Plus, I don't want to risk all that water on my laminate. If there was any saving grace, it's that wal mart was so awesome about taking things back. I now have a haan hd 60 and it suits my needs so much better.

I have a lot of hardwood in my 4500 square ft house, so I thought this would help clean the floors. I don't think it vacuums very well, and it doesn't have any attachments for edges and corners. When I used the floor cleaner, it turned the water black, so I think it does clean my floors pretty well. Every time I use it, I'm amazed at how dirty the water gets. I do notice some streaking, but only when the sunlight shines on the floor.

Asking about durability for a new product is a question one cannot answer.
Easy to assemble except for the handle which required a phone call to know about
shoving it into position until it "clicked". I could not do it but my husband finally did get it in.
That got the cleaner working for wet cleaning.

I thought this product would finally be the all in one machine I need for a large household with a lot of hard floors. As far as the vacuum, it's eh...ok. It doesn't seem to have enough suction power to pick up all the floor debris. But the washing part of the cleaner is great. I love the drying feature and it cleans pretty well. One of my biggest issues is my kitchen floor which is ceramic tile, full of crevices. I've used the vacuum a few times on it now and it's actually beginning to look better. I will probably still need some kind of professional to get it sparkling but I liked what I got. I think Hoover should have left it at a washing vacuum, that's the best part. Overall it is easy to use and empty.

Excellent product. The unit scrubs and removes dirt much better than a sponge mop and the drying is fantastic. What's really great is that it first vacs the floor removing all dirt particles, then scrubs, and then dries the floor. We will buy one for every home.

I am really happy with this little machine. After using it in the family room, I pushed the ottoman back into place, and, for the first time, did not hear any grit on my floor! Living in AZ, there is always sand in the house. (The only disappointment was the vacuum, that does not pick up bits of dried leaves and flowers that blow in when the door is opened on a windy day. ) My floors are clean, clean, clean! Works on tile and Pergo. Very easy to fill and empty. Senior-citizen friendly! I will never use a mop again!

We got this cleaner put it together and found that the cleaner water would not spray out to clean the floor. It dribbled out and did nothing to clean the floor. Don't waste your money! Buy a Bissell.......

I have had issues with getting my floor clean since I bought my house with tile floors. I am finally happy and the floor feels and looks clean for the first time. It is easy to use and with the 3 settings, I can get the job done in little time. the floor can get very wet if you want it to. I found it you go over the same area without adding more solution it will dry in minutes without using the dryer. I have back problems from trying to clear the floor - no longer. My bare feet are clean and so it the floor. The best spent $ ever.

I purchased his floor cleaner to replace one that I'd owned and loved for many years. It was just time to get a new one. It arrived on time, in fact it was not suppose to be here until Monday, but showed up on Friday - so that was actually great. However, it was placed upside-down on my front step and the box was crushed in several areas. I purchased this two weeks ago - was fairly happy with it, until this morning. After cleaning half of my tile floor in the kitchen it simply stopped working. No water would come out. Not happy.

Don't bother wasting your money a mop and bucket do just as good. First, the brushes are only on the oustide so there is a strip you have to re-do. Second, won't get near baseboards so you still need a mop to get to those areas. Third, on dry it only pushes the water around and won't pull what's on the floor. I dumped water to see and yes it does pick up a large amount but unless you dump allot of water on floor to wash it what it puts out from the wash "cycle" it doesn't pick anything up on the dry. Complete waste of money!

The only issue I have is that it doesn't do a good job on corners and edges so I needed to do those parts by hand. I used it on tile - haven't tried it yet on our hardwood flooring. But makes life a whole lot easier since it washes, rinses and dries! Walmart had the best price online - shipping was free which was a bonus.

I owned the previous model and that one broke after 6 years using it 3 times a week or so. I love the way my wood floors shine when it's all finished. The cleaner that comes with it is fresh smelling, but i can't seem to find in on the store shelf-- so will have to look around. It also picks up dog hair and rarely clogs. easy to take apart when needed. Love it!
