This blanket is very soft and washes well, lots of lint after first couple washes but that should be expected with this material. The only issue I have with this blanket is the "Baby" embroidered in the center of the blanket. Yes it's cute but it creates a large rough area (compared to the rest of the blanket) and is not attractive from the reverse side. I have used this on the floor for tummy time mostly. I received this as a shower gift.
