I already had the 2.5 qt. dish with rack. My purchase was for by son as he kept borrowing mine for special ocassions. Now he has his own plus and extra piece. Price was "amazing".

I love this corning-ware set. I bought these pieces to add to other pieces I already have. It would be perfect if there was another plastic cover so both pieces could be nicely covered while stored in the refrigerator.

It was nice to find just this set of the 2 dishes, and not have to purchase a set of 14 items just to get this. It is a gift and is still boxed, so I really can't rate the durability or appearance, but I like CorningWare.

I would really love to be able to get replacement lids. I had to buy a new set just to get the lids that I needed. This is cook ware that I use all of the time and love it. Any one have any ideas how to get just the glass and plastic lid for them. The glass lid will break.

What can anyone say about Corningware that's not fabulous?? It's been around for years and has stood the test of time. It's a wonderful product and a tremendous value. It's easy to use, easy to clean, and everything I cook in it turns out great. I'm in my 50's and have used Corningware all my life, and I bought a set for my daughter for Christmas, and for my granddaughter who is moving out on her own and setting up an apartment to go to college. I would recommend Corning to everybody!

I had two for the longest time before my husband broke the the big one-and as his birthday present he got me this set and I put it in use right away.
For they are my favorite. Yes it's his birthday present for breaking it. I swear mine was deeper than this one-but it doesn't matter. I'll check around for it and still get it so it's a win-win for me.

I ordered this set over Site to Store, it was delivered on time but it came broken. It wasn't Walmart's fault, the original manufacturer's package is way too tight for the product and there is no protection in the box. The return was very easy, no problems at all.
The dishes are nice, although a bit heavy, the ceramic it's made of is not of the best quality. But should be good for every day use, it's not something you'd consider your fine cookware/serveware but for the price it's pretty good deal.
