I purchased a 10 piece Tramontina set and love this cookware. I ordered this piece and was disappointed to receive the lid with scratches and fingerprints on the underside. I will return and hope for a better one the next time. So, the poor review was due to this item. Otherwise, I am enjoying this cookware

I love this pan! My food cooks quickly and evenly. Everything browns perfectly. Cleanup is so easy. I put water in it while we are eating, by the time we're done it just washes out with a swish. If I cooked something that leaves behind a residue, I squirt some bartender's friend on it and wipe it off with a dishrag. No elbow grease needed at all. I am going to get the whole set now.

My wife was looking for a triply plan similar to what she used at the beach house we rented this year. After visiting many stores in my area prior to our anniversary, I found the Tramontina online at Wal-mart. So far, my wife has been thrilled wih the pan as it performs as well as the one used this summer. By that it seems to heat up quickly, but more importantly evenly. No long will food have to be moved around to ensure even cooking!

Very nice product. It is beautiful to look at and you don't have to turn it on high to get it to heat properly. In fact you use this product on a low heat setting and it works even better than other products do on a high setting. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to purchase this type of stainless steel pot. It can be used for anything from skillet fried potatoes to fried chicken. Cooking is even no matter what your cooking. I absolutely love this product.

First off let me say I totally love this pan. I would love to be able to afford All-Clad but cannot. I would purchase it again, but just wanted to say that there is a hot spot on this pan. My 12 inch Tramontina Tri Ply Open Saute pan does not have a hot spot but this one does. It would not deter me from purchasing again, just wanted to share.

An excellent product. Very well made. Works perfectly for cooking or frying just about anything. Requires much lower heat than my old aluminum clad pans. Also cleans up very nice after a short soaking with dish washing detergent or Bar Keepers Friend. Wish I had bought this along time ago. Just remember that to keep things from sticking or burning.....turn the heat lower.

This pan is used on a flat-top electric stove several times per week. It is flat, heats evenly, isn't hard to clean, and shows no signs of discoloration or handles loosening. I have high expectations for a $75 pan, but this pan meets those expectations. We are planning on getting more Tramontina 18/10 TriPly-Clad Stainless cookware in the near future.

I read lots of reviews on stainless pans since I'm gradually replacing my old Commercial Circulon cookware. This is my third Tri-Ply pan and I couldn't be happier. I don't cook enough to spring for All-Clad so I tried this. WOW, what a great value, compare same size to any of the major brands and you'll see what a great buy these are. I'll continue to buy them one piece at a time. If you need all new cookware buying the set all at once would be the way to go.

I have an extensive review of Tramontina tri-ply on the 10 piece set which applies to this piece as well. So I won't be repeating any of that here.
I got this pan because the 10 piece set that I bought did not have a replacement for my covered 12" pan that I use quite a lot.
This pan is sturdy, well built and gorgeous. I have no complaints really. The only reason I marked it down for value is that compared to the 10 piece set, this is a little expensive.
