For the price I am happy with these tables. Both tables we followed the directions and one table went together perfectly but the other table is slightly off as far as the drawer goes, it just doesn't close right. Thankfully one table we do not need to open a lot so it's not a huge deal. We also got different knobs to help dress the table up.

Ordered two of these and was pleasantly surprised that both arrived with no damage.
Pros:
- affordable
- attractive, looks like a real piece of furniture
- edges are well finished, not like the particle board knock-down furniture
- solid wood frame (legs)
- bottom shelf is very useful for books

- drawer is very shallow, don't count on storing much in there
- top and shelf are not solid wood. They are some kind of laminate, but with a real wood surface

I didn't receive the correct screws so, without realizing it, screwed a screw through the top of the table top. I was able to sort of patch it myself, put the "blemish" toward the back / against the wall, and put the bill basket over it, like I was planning on, but the screws were incorrect and caused me to damage the end table. I didn't want to deal with the hassle of returning it, so kept it, patched. Before you screw something the might end up going through a side that will be visible when finished, hold the screw up to the side of the two parts to be screwed together to make sure it won't "puncture" through to the other side. If that hadn't been a problem (pretty significant), I would have given this 5 stars. It's cute and worth the money. Easy assembly. Sturdy.

Overall Good Quality for $ but I got the wrong one

Overall, Great quality for how little it cost. However there are a few things that could be improved. the pilot holes on the side of the drawer assembly didn't line up, that wasn't such a problem because it was in a place not visible so I was able to just drill a new set that did align. the drawer bottom insert is cardboard. I suppose how small the drawer is you wouldn't be able to fit anything very heavy in there anyways but.... I just don't like cardboard furniture. Oh, the biggest drawback for me was that Walmart sent me the wrong color or they do not have it advertised properly Online it shows a dark colored wood (Dark Walnut) I received a much lighter colored (Walnut). If I had received what I ordered I would have given a higher rating.

The parts were not numbered and this made the project of assemblying the end table a little more time consuming than it should have taken. It was a little hectic because the individual pieces were not number like usual funiture to be assembled at home.

Very sturdy once assembled. Some of the wholes didn't line up and where hard to screw peices together, but I've found this common with "assembly required" furniture and there were a few hairline type cracks but they didnt' affect sturdiness and were int eh back to noone will see. I ordered the Walnut colored ones, and they were more of a cherry appearance which I was thrilled about because they matched my bedroom set much better than I had thought they would! Overall happy with product for the money.

My husband and I needed nightstands for our bedroom so I saw these and ordered them in the dark walnut. Well, they really don't have a dark stain all. The wood is much lighter than pictured and that was a bummer. Other than that they are sturdy and work fine for us.

We bought 2 night stands in white for our guest room. They were easy to put together and surprisingly solid. My complaint is that the manufacturer skimped on the paint. It is not a nice lacquer; rather you can see wood grain through the paint. It doesn’t look shabby-sheik- it just looks like someone forgot to do the second coat of paint. While I can live with that, the problem is that it is missing a sealant -- I’m sure that heat or liquid would damage the surface. I still feel good about the purchase because they look nice and are sturdy but ... you get what you pay for…

I wasn't expecting too much since the pair of these nightstands only cost $75.00, and unfortunately I didn't get much. Sometimes you can get a piece of inexpensive furniture that doesn't look cheap, but these are both inexpensive and cheap. One of the nightstands went together without issues and fit together nicely, but the other one had holes that didn't line up perfectly. We have several other end tables/nightstands in our house and these are by far the smallest of them all, so make sure you take note of the measurements so you'll know what you're getting. Like I said at the beginning, although these only cost $40 they look and feel like what a $40 nightstand would. You won't be getting ripped off by purchasing these, but you definitely won't be getting a deal.

I ordered the dark walnut finish and needless to say it was not dark at all. It looks in the picture to be close to expresso which was what I was needing. Ordered it and got it in and was so disappointed it was 10 shades lighter than the picture.

I have put together lots of furniture, this one was the worst. Half the screws did not sink into the holes and therefore could not be covered with the matching plugs, so you can see them. The knob cannot be tightened. I put one together, and am returning the second one....

Do not trust the picture

I was attempting to match some dark wood chairs and had high hopes that this accent table would go well with them. Sadly, when I opened the box I found that the shade was far far far lighter than it appeared in the picture. I mean, not even close to the same shade. If you're looking for dark walnut like this claimed to be, don't buy this table.
