SD cards are changing. First, there are the "original" cards like this one and then there are HCSD (high capacity) cards. Second, cards are now being rated 1 - 4 on the speed in which they can accept data flowing from the camera or other device.
I used this card with a modest 7 MP camera and it was fine. I placed MP3 files on it and they played properly in my player. But when I used it to record audio with a professional digital recorder, it skipped sections, as it could not keep up. I had to buy a card rated as faster.
However, for general use, it's fine. If you have a brand new SLR with a high speed burst mode, you may have to use a faster card.

This product was an excellent value for the money. This memory car holds a lot of pictures and downlaods them fast to your computer. Well worth the money spent. I would deffinately recommend purchasing this item!

I had never used a memory card before and was also new to having a digital camera. This was so easy, I just popped it in my camera and it was ready to go. With my camera it can now hold almost 900 pictures. I would buy another one of these if I ever needed one!

I got this card free with my camera, but it exceeded my expectations. It works pretty fast considering the price. However, if you want lightening writing speed, you may want to check out other options. I use my camera casually and it works perfect for me. My camera said that the card holds 500 pictures on the 'fine' setting.

We looked around at other stores to check the prices of the Digital Media Memory Card and the prices were way to much. I went to WalMart.com and they had the Memory Card for a lot less then the other stores. When my daughter put the Memory Card into her digital camera, WOW!! we were given so many more features and options by using the Memory Card. We are very happy with this product and the price!

I don't know much about SD cards, but I was able to put pictures on it that later showed up on my husband's digital picture frame when we installed it, so I have no complaints. Plus, it was free with the frame, so of course it was a good value.
