Works perfectly with Vista (my main concern). I bought my Dell computer not knowing they had taken out the floppy disc drive. All my photos are on discettes, what to do? Fortunately wal-mart had the USB port floppy drive and one at a good price, on-line. Works great! Also takes up very little space!! Thanks Wal-mart !

The floppy drive was exactly what I wanted. I plugged it into the usb drive and was using it within seconds. I have windows vista. I use it daily.

Although 3 1/2" disks are now obsolete and can't be found in any store, some of us still must use them and therefore have to have the disk drive. Computere no longer have built-in disk playere so their availability must be continued. This drive meets my needs and expectations.

The disk drives on my old computer crashed, the only way to save the files was on floppy drive, my new computer did not have a floppy drive. With the purchase of this drive I was able to transfer all of my old files and even some older programs that had become prefered favorites to my new computer. This would have never been possible without this external floppy drive. It is very compact and was very easy to set up and use. Its just great. Has been a great time saver.

Needed a floppy drive to backup a couple of files for automatic backup of computer from an external hard drive. Used Site-to-Store to save shipping and it worked great. Actually arrived several days prior to quoted detlivery date. Drive looks well made and worked flawlessly.

Building a new machine Vista 64 bit etc. Have little need these days for a floppy BUT I do still have untransferred files on floppy that I will get to eventually(?) Anyway, out of the box and plugged into the USB it worked and read the floppy discs I had no issues. Great little gizmo if you still want to be outdated and outmoded in the new tech world.

This product is great! The big question now is does this product work with Windows Vista. The Answer is Yes! Just plug it into an USB port and the computer finds it. The price is great if compared to other Companies I contacted.

I have an old Sony camera that uses floppy discs that I love. The new computers don't have floppy disc drives any more. My new computer has Vista and I was afraid this wouldn't be compatible, but it works just fine. This was inexpensive and makes me very happy.
