Linksys WRT150N Wireless-N Home Broaband Router

I bought the router because I needed one to connect to xbox live with my linksys wireless ethernet bridge and to connect with my wireless G laptop. Being that my bridge was a linksys product it made the most sense to buy a linksys router. The wireless-N "push button" to connect the router and device was worthless. I was however (after some effort mainly due to my bridge and not the router) able to connect to it with my xBox 360. I get great connection speeds even with other computers accessing the internet. A change in internet speed is never due to a router unless it delivers information to its users at a connection slower than the internet connection. With this product that is not the case. Sometimes my xBox live is unable to connect, but I think this is due to slow cable internet speeds and not the router for the reason above. My computer with Wireless 802.11g connects to the router with extreme ease. For those people who are having issues with telephone interference they should change their signal to broadcast only b or g or n depending on what they need to avoid that. It should never be an issue unless your phone is using 802.11 a/b/g/n. I have several wireless telephones and never experience a problem with them. The router doesn't slow the internet connection and I never have issues with it not releasing the ISP given IP address (in other words I haven't needed to reset the router or modem).
My advice to anyone who is looking for a good quality router who has wireless N devices or is planning on getting them is to buy this router. If you only have wireless G devices you might as well buy a cheaper product because you won't be taking advantage of the Wireless N benefits. Good Luck!

I purchased this router and spent 3 hrs trying to get it to connect and hold the connection. It would connect and then drop. Sadly it would drop both my wired desktop and my wireless laptop. Linksys's technician tried everything he could think of but no luck. He finally disclosed that they were having issues with this router. Don't buy this router!!!

Well let me say, this was very easy for me to use, I didnt use the cd because I have delt with routers before and know what I am doing by manually configuring everything. This router has all the functionality you need and more for a home user. I would recommend this for anybody, plus the price is good. To all that say that there laptop still runs slow or cant connect, that just might mean you need the Wireless-N adapter to use the full functionality of this router plus some old laptops might have an outdated wireless card that has 802.11 a or 802.11b this router requires I believe 802.11b - 802.11g or 802.11n. if you only have a 802.11a you need to upgrade in order to connect. The signal on this router is by far the best that I have ever had. I can go all the way to the basement and my router is located on the 2nd floor of my house and still get full bars. I recommend buying this over the Wireless G which I had previous to this router.

When i first saw this i thought it would not be good but i WAS REALLY wrong. This linksys is worth the money its faster and really easy to set up and my xbox live is faster then ever! If your going to pick from The G model OR the N model pick the N Its WAYWAYWAY faster and has a futher signal distance.ANY way if u want xbox live wirelessly or want to use your ipod touch u must buy this.

If anyone out there wants to use this product to connect wirelessly, which I would assume you would, you will be extremely frustrated with trying to get this product to connect wirelessly to anything. If you do not use your router for a long period of time (2-3 months), expect the WRT150N to loose its wireless settings and expect to reconfigure it many times. Also, if you own an xbox 360 connected wirelessly to the internet via a wireless adapter, expect to manually enter in all of the DNS settings, IP addresses, and MAC settings etc. If this product were worth $20, I still would not buy it.

I live out in the country and I do not often get to the nearest big shopping center. I bought this product online and it was delivered rather quickly to me. I had dial up internet before and it would take 30 minutes to load web page. I now have a sattelite connection to the internet and two pc's. This product was easy to install, the time it took was no more then 10 min. I networked both pc's so I have internet on the one pc that did not have internet. No problems with speed on the one pc that is connected to the router, the web page loads fast (est. 3-5 seconds). I recommend this product.

I spent most of my night and some of my morning trying to get this thing to work right. It is now back in the box waiting to be returned. Had it working for a while but internet was drastically slower then with my cheap $35 Belkin router. Definetly didnt meet the expectations I had after reading the reviews.

With a rare connection it has a slow connection even with a high-speed cable. Help for product information was also a poor. I will not be looking at a Linksys for a new wireless router.
