When in doubt to find the right manufacturers for upgrading parts, you can always trust Acer for your monitor selections. Near limitless horizontal viewing angle. Vertical viewing angle tends to get discolored quite easily -- however the stand does swivel for this very reason.
Because it swivels, this makes the stand slightly wobbly. Nonetheless, the quality of this product (and it's 20.1" version) are unmatched by any other brand in my opinion. EXCELLENT.
I plan on buying another VERY soon!

I have a newer computer, but was using an older monitor. Time for a widescreen upgrade. I shopped around looking at other big brand names, costing more money when this one caught my eye. I soon found out after installing this new Acer, the right decision was made. Easy install with software that auto configured to my current settings of 800x600 resolution. It looked good then, however a simple click on my desktop, clicking properties-then settings-simply slide the resolution to the new monitors native resolution 1440x900. Wow what a difference. Crisp, clear bright natural color. No dead pixels. Good warranty-great price-super performance. After installing, type 1440x900 into your favorite search engine. Tons of free wallpaper to compliment your new widescreen. This monitor deserves five stars.

Bought the whole Acer computer outfit for my husband ,I liked the 19in. monitor so much I bought a monitor for myself, great product for the money, I went from a 15in. to the 19in. very pleased with the screen size. would buy another Acer product in the fuure if my Compaq goes out.

I just bought this 19inch acer and the instructions were lousy. They should be put in lay mans terms. I could not understand them at all. Now I will have to get someone to help fix the poor picture and tell me why the picture only on takes up part of the screen. It is very distorted too. Right now I am very disappointed in this monitor.

This product is very nice once set up I noticed-not computer illerate but somewhat knowing what I'm doing, noticed no sound!!! I did not know that the new monitors do not have speakers and if you are going to replace the 68lb old ones, lol, and your computer is 2001 you need to look to see if speakers are intergraded in the models before you purchase... Other than that the screen was awsome and booted up right away-just advertize that you are NOT getting speakers with the monitor and there are no outlets in the back to put some in or connect some to it!!! Just a heads up thats all but the screen was awsome and i couldn't believe how easy it was to install and have running in no time!!!!! Just wish it had speakers-lol!!!!!

I was so undecided as to which brand flat screen monitor to get. I knew how much I wanted to spend and I knew it had to be black. I saw that our church office had this one and it look great. I read all the other review's and felt this was good for the price. I went from a desk top monitor to this flat screen and so far I am very pleased. It was very easy to install and set up.

If you are thinking about it, just do it. I took it out of the box, plugged it in and it worked. Just that simple. I am disable and use my computer everyday, and this is so much easier on my eyes then any other montor in the past.

I bought this to replace a used one of the same type, which had burned out. I love the buttons that allow you to choose different resolutions for different purposes - graphics, movies etc. And I would never have known about the resolution to set it to if it was not printed on a piece of plastic taped to the monitor in the box - this is the widescreen setting, which I had not known of before - makes all the difference in the world! I love watching DVDs on this!
