I recently bought this tv on black Friday because mine quit working. I was kind of ify of buying it because it is not brand name. So far im pleased with the tv. The only gripe I can give is that it is 720p and not 1080p. Other then that its a good tv for the price and I have not had any problems with it yet. I also was noticing how many other people were buying them and there were a lot being sold of this brand. Also has enough hook ups for my games and pc that I also use on it.

For 30 years, standard RCA pin plugs have protruded straight out from the body of the TV, VCR etc. Not on this VISIO They hid the pugs under a panel and they prtrude downward. I had to turn the whole TV upside down so I could finally read the labels. Also from Admiral to Samsung, the input outputs are yellow, white and red. Visia comes out with an additional Green and blue. I use TV ears to hear better but this set has no indication as to whether it is audio out or audio in. Look on the back on any electronic equipment and it will always say Video In and out , Audio In and out. Nowhere does it say in or out. I may take this back to the store and get a decent TV.

Overall quality seems high. The picture is bright and clear with excellent contrast when using HDMI input. Everything works as advertised. Nice simple remote.
My only problem with the TV is that it only has optical audio out. It does not have a headphone jack or RCA audio out which I need for my sound system. I ended up using the audio out on my DVR so that I could use my home theater audio. I also need to connect my DVD player audio out directly to my sound system. This oversight by Vizio of a simple common feature could be a problem for those like me who can't use optical audio out and want to use home theatre sound. I was ready to return the unit when I realized I could the audio out from my DVR to get home theatre sound.

I love this TV. It is the first flat panel TV that we have purchased. Great price, great picture, great sound, and very easy to set up. I will be purchasing a 42" for our living room soon. I highly recommend this TV for anyone on a budget looking for a great deal.

I am very satisfied with the quality of this product. I had done a lot of research on these TV's and had heard good things about Vizio but I was still nervous about not buying one of the bigger brand names. I also had a friend who had just bought an Insignia and I was less than impressed with the picture. So this further fueled my anxieties about not buying a larger brand. But once I hooked up this Vizio and turned to an HD channel, all of my anxieties went away. This picture is great! The audio is not terrible like some other Flat Panels and I only paid $657! Buy this TV...you won't be sorry.

I just arrived from Walmart with this precious jewel and hooked it up. OMG, it is awesome. The picture is beautiful and the set up was a breeze. This is far better than I imagined. I've had this set since May 2008 and will have to say, "SWEET, very SWEET"..... I know six other people with this very same set and none of them have had any problems with it. I have mine hooked up to Charter digital cable and I'll have to say "ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC" !!! Walmart hit it out of the ball park with this one !!!

I bought this before the x-mas sales because i needed a new t.v. I had the choice boiled down to either vizio or insignia(best buy) and decided the vizio was the way to go. After 2 days I only have 1 bad thing to say about this tv. The connections are on the bottom rear of this instead of on the side or front. For a 60 yr. old disabled person to get under there to hook up cables was a real chore. Side access like the insignia has would be the best I think. The remote is very simple as has been remarked on in other reviews but ok i guess. A few more features would be nice, but for the money($657.) i can't gripe too much. I only have sd service at the moment and it's a lot better than what i thought it was going to be after reading some of the reviews concerning this. I'm getting hd soon so i'll know how that is then. I'll write another review once i get that and I've had this set for a couple months. I don't think you"ll be disappointed with this tv.

Very surprised by the Vizio. I purchased this tv on 12/31/07 and I have enjoyed it immensely. All my friends and family are envious! I love it. Good picture, sound, and size. Purchased it on the 6month plan and it was the best $700 (incl tax) I've spent. Didn't feel like it took a chunk of my money. Yeah.

I bought this TV for my boyfriend and he absolutely loves it! He is able to watch all of his sports in high definition, and the picture quality is amazing. The quality is just as good with the Xbox 360, and now that he's used to it, he has a hard time using any other TV. This was a great buy, especially for the money. Highly recommended!

The old tube died and went to Wal-Mart and purchased the Sonyo 32". Got it home, cable hooked it up. I was not happy with the picture quality. I took the Sonyo back and picked the Vizio 32". I had noticed on the display wall, the Vizio looked much sharper in the picture quality. Had the Vizio for a week and was totally amazed! The quality of the picture and sound was awsome. So, I had to have a bigger one! Brought the 32" back and got the 37" which is just the perfect size! Will stick with Vizio from now on!

This is my first flat panel TV. Before buying I looked at most HD flat panels available. After reading the reviews on here and on Consumer Reports I chose this model. I have Dish Network without the HD package and even in regular definition I am extremely satisfied. It is crystal clear! I may or may not upgrade to HD as the picture is extremely clear at present. The reviews were right, the sound has much to be desired, solved that problem by running the sound through my surround sound system. I would recommend this set to anyone.

I purchased this TV from my local Walmart. When i took it home and set it up, it turned on and worked fine, but had 4 dead pixels (Pixels that just dont work) in the middle of the screen. I returned it and got a new one. This TV started out fine, but after about a month it had 3 dead pixels. By the time i realized this it was too late to return it to Walmart. In order to have it fixed by Vizio it would just be too big of a hassle. There is obviously a problem with the pixels in these televisions. I would not recommend this to anyone. The only nice part of this TV is that hooking my computer into it does look very nice. Other than that this TV has not even come close to my expectations.

I researched a lot of HD TV's before I bought this one. The 1080 resolution is awesome. However the HDMI chord is way expensive ( at least $50 for a 3 foot chord) But I highly recomend it. Unbeatable deal, great picture and the sound is better in a room with wood or tile floors than carpeted rooms.
