These are great for the price. Tall, thin teenager son grows quickly, so these are perfect for him at this price, especially since they run a little small. We wish they came in a 30x34 in the dark wash. These are the REGULAR straight leg jeans, not LOOSE fit like most jeans and these work perfect for the thinner teens with thin legs. Loose fit and "relaxed" fit are too wide for DS. Decent quality denim, average style. DS likes the dark wash best. These are not low-rise (yay!) and DS is comfortable in them. Other brands run too loose for him. We've tried several brands, but he likes these the best. At this price, I'm happy too!

I ordered these because the store usually doesn't have the shorter lengths in stock. I have a short inseam so I still have to get them hemmed at additional cost but the total is still less than Wrangler per pair. These work for me . Try a pair and see for yourself.

My husband wears Rustler jeans daily for his work as a shopping cart retriever. Many years ago, I got a whole stack of them at another store, no longer in business. I am also a hobby seamstress & have taken some to use as patching material for others. Some, I cut-off & made shorts. A few pairs, I even dated & they lasted several years. Now & then, there would appaer small unexplained wear-spots or holes. My husband won't wear any other pants - he just likes the way these fit. If you can get several years from a pair of jeans that cost in the "low-teens $", what more can anybody ask?

Not very good product. After only a few washings began to get holes at the top of back pockets. Not just a bad pair of pants because this has happened to the last 4 pairs that I have purchased. Will not be purchasing anymore. Would rather pay high dollar 4 pair if they are going to last.

I had already purchased three pairs of these in two different Walmart Stores and just ordered another two online at walmart.com. Low cost of shipping and the the low cost of the jeans allowed me another two pairs for less than $26.00. These are great to go to work in, allows you the look of new jeans as often as you like and the dark blue color holds up through many washes. I will be hard pressed to buy other jeans at $40.00 per pair ever again.

Purchased for my husband, who does not like to "dress up" unless necessary. The black color was chosen to give a "dressed up" look while giving him the comfort he wants. For the price, they were a great buy. The jeans will only be used occationally, so they should last a long time. Would not suggested they be used for work unless its in an office setting.

My son like my Dad has a very long rise. We have had 3 comparison try ons in WalMart stores for both my Dad and son for jeans: the Rustler AND Faded Glory jeans have the longest rise in the same size.
Rustler - Men's Regular Fit Straight-Leg Jeans run very true to size. These jeans wear like iron and always look GREAT no matter what color you buy them in. I have purchased about 30 pairs of these over the past 5-7 years for my son and Dad in different sizes.
My son grew from 5'4" to 5'9 1/2" and from 148-118 pounds (always with a long rise). My son has gone from a size 36" waist to a 30" waist in these jeans. My son's current height is 5'9 1/2" and 118 pounds. My son does track, cross country and football and wears these jeans every minute he is out of his school uniform. These jeans hold up well doing yard work including tree trimming, mowing, lawn mower, tractor and car repair, rock climbing, etc. We have never had any problems with tearing in the wash, dye/color transfer to our vehicle seats, etc as mentioned by other reviewers. (Have had these problems with Wrangler, Lee amd Levi jeans my spouse wears which were purchased at WalMart).
My 84 yr old Dad is 5'8" tall and has been roughly 142 pounds since he was in the Army during WWII at the age of 17 years: I buy him 36" waist as he likes his waist loose. For years he wore 34" waist until he had some abdominal surgery and wanted to wear jeans loose in the waist.
Recommendation: try the Rustler and Faded Glory jeans on in the store OR order both if you need a long rise. Do a comparison at home and return the brand which doesn't fit quite as well. I also had my son and Dad try on different waist sizes so I could compare the fit from the back in the buttox and legs son looked better in 30" waist, 31" waist was too big. Dad could have worn 34" waist in legs but waist was slightly too tight.
Rustler and Faded Glory jeans do NOT fit my spouse who has a short rise. (Levis, Lee and Wrangler jeans 34-36" waist fit my spouse better with a very short rise and very short legs: 26 1/2" inseams).

My wife and I have searched everywhere trying to find jeans that will fit our teenage son. 14 years old and already 6'2", with a 29 inch waist, our choices are limited. I recently purchased two pairs of these Rustlers. I wore one pair to work the very next day. Four hours after putting this pair of jeans on, the seat busted out. I went home, changed jeans, put on the second new pair, and returned to work. Lo and behold, the seat in that pair busted out, too. Two pairs in one day!!! Unreal. I did not not return these jeans for a refund, but I should have. Threw them both in the trash. These are the lousiest jeans I have ever bought in my entire life.
