I have been reviewing this product since last summer, now that its a descent temp i picked one of these up and have been riding at night. Its small and lightweight, and provides a good amount of light that is very bright. It has a bluish xenon look to it like in certain cars that reflect of off white objects. I can see white objects light up from over 100 feet away with this bad boy at night, also has a flash mode and easly detaches from the handlebar clamp with the push of a clip, and can be used as a flash light. As far as the beem reaching 100 ft ahead of me it provides light to the left, right and right in front of the bike. Only thing for me is that i wish it was $5 cheaper, but i guess i cant complain with it costing $20 before tax, overall the price is worth it.

I haven't had a chance to use it on a bike ride at night. However, in a dark house... it really brighten up a room. It's a little expensive, but worth it.

It's bright and leaves a circle of light on objects at quite a distance, but don't depend on it to light your actual path. It's more like a small spotlight, and is bright enough to catch (and perhaps blind) the eye of approaching riders/drivers. But it doesn't cast a long swath of light on the roadway in front of you, so choose your route accordingly. Easy to slide on/off its clip.

I bought this light to ride to and from work 1 hour each way. About half of the ride is in the dark and this light is adequate for the job. It has two modes strobe and constant. I use the strobe while the sun is out. Probably not world class, but not bad for the money.

Bright, powerful, easy to fix to the handlebars without tools. Battery replacement requires no tools. This unit takes 4 AAA batteries: for me this is a positive. I use rechargeables and prefer the lasting power of four to the fairly common two in many similar lights. Comment: the light produces a relatively narrow, bright blue-white center area surrounded by a large, dim flood area.

When i first saw how small it was, i thought to myself, how could that be so powerful? Well, i couldn't wait for it to get dark so i could check it out and it is perfect. The big power inside that little light is magnificent. i have to ride in the dark sometimes and this product lights up the way and the flasher mode is great to let people know you are there. i love it and have reccommened it to many of my friends. thank you very much for my safer night ride.

I just got it, and it is still winter here and need another month to start up biking. The ad was fine, except, it didn't mention the type of batteries needed. Actually it needs four AAA's.. I have little room on my handlebars, but it fit with no problem. I like the quick release, since most of my biking is during day. I bought this for the rare occasion that I am stuck in the dark. For some reason, I thought the blinking light was red. It's the regular light beam that blinks. For what reason this might be needed, I'm not sure.
