I still ride my 2-wheeler occasionally, but wanted a safer ride to take my little dog along with me. He rides in the basket behind me on a soft bed and loves it!
The bike rides very smoothly and is easy to steer once I had a little practice. It is similar to driving a car since you have 2 back wheels.
I think Wal-Mart might have a market for these if they were displayed in the stores along with the other bicycles. I was able to see one already built in the store (it was damaged). It was good to see the real thing before I purchased it online.

I have two children, 5 and 1, and really wanted to be able to safely and easily take them both with me when I ride. My husband bought this for me as a Mother's Day gift and it is nearly perfect! We put a seat on the front for the baby and one on the back for my 5 year old daughter. Everywhere we go, people stop us and tell us what a cool set-up we have. Because there are 3 wheels, it is much more stable than my old bike; I don't have to prop it against the fence to get the kids in! We ride all over town on "the mama mobile," as we call it, and have enjoyed it so much! I gave this trike 4 stars instead of 5 because it's a single speed. This makes hills, and even slight inclines, very difficult to climb (especially for a mom with two passengers). I am a fitness fanatic and see this as a challenging workout, but I don't think I would recommend this trike to older less fit individuals who will be riding on hilly terrain. Pay the extra money and buy a trike with gears if you will be doing a lot of riding like this.

Purchased for my wife for her birthday. Having had
Few surgeries she did not feel comfortable on a two wheel
plus she was unable to lift leg over center bar. With this trike
she can easily get on and off, and now we can enjoy bike
rides together. If you ask your site to store personnel at Walmart
may build it for you, as they did mine.

Great frame quallity-Poor accessories

Frame is solid, great metal with great welds. Accessories poor. Tires are almost paper thin. with no treads. Schwinn must have taken tires off a nursery school trike. Front tiire had a 2-3" inch tear with the tube protruding. WalMart did give me $25 credit for tire tear. Seat is defective, in that it will not stay flat. Keeps moving either up or down and makes it almost impossible to ride bike. Will go to nearby bike store and buy a new seat, since all efforts at tightening have failed. Biggest complaint is the assembly manual. Horrible, minimal written instructions with little or no pictorials.

This is a very safe and fun way to get some exercise. This adult tricycle is beautiful and handles beautifully. Even my husband of over 46 years has had a turn on it. It is constructed very well and carries a life time warranty. Every adult who misses their childhood tricycle ride should have one. Thank you Schwinn.

I ordered this trike because I can no longer ride a 2 wheel due to balance problems n weak leg muscles. It arrived at store earlier than expected and Walmart personnel assembled it for me.I expected to just hop on and go but soon realized it does not handle like a 2 wheel bike. My husband thought I was kidding but he had problems handling it too. So I just took it slow and practiced riding in circles until I felt confident with it. Am loving it now but it is best on flat pavement. Riding on a rounded country road is a bit scary-feels like it could tip over easily. It is a very sturdy bike and sharp looking.

I bought this bike so I could take our dog/s running with out having the fear of tipping. It takes one or two rides to get used to if you normally ride a 2 wheeler, but once you do you feel very safe. My one dog as a tendency to pull and now he can get his running and energy out instead of just a leisurely walk. I love getting smiles from everyone too as we go by. Love this trike!!

Disappointed in the quality of this bike......thought it would be better.....metal in fenders rather flimsey and so close to the tire. Must be living back in the days when Schwinn was the Cadillac of bikes. Hard for my husband to get onto it......much different from a two wheeler.....beware.....he is 74 and can't balance a regular bike anymore....so this is the next best thing for him.....he wants to keep trying at least.

I called a dozen bike shops looking for an adult trike and they were all well over $350. Plus, the $350 trikes were lesser known/lesser quality brands than Schwinn. Walmart sells this for an unbeatable price and they assemble it for free. It's really a no brainer. They have two trike options (the 24 inch and the 26 inch). I would go for the 26 inch if the person riding it is over 6 feet. It allows for more leg room.

This is a wonderful and sharp looking bike! My almost 18 year old son loves riding it. He never could ride a 2 wheel bike. This gives him lots of fun! The employees were fantastic about putting the bike together for him so he could enjoy it. Thanks to the Urbana, Ohio store!

I, too, was looking at this tricycle for our autistic son who is almost 15. Same deal, he has never learned how to ride a two wheeler so he was missing all the fun! I appreciate your review and mentioning the fact that your son has autism. It gives me hope that our son, too, will be able to finally enjoy bike riding.

My wife is handicapped and cannot balance on a regular bike, so we decided this would be the best option for her to continue to exercise. We bought a Schwinn because of the name we have used and trusted since we were kids. We continue to be customers...this is a very nice bike and perfect for my wife's needs. It is comfortable and easy to ride - after getting used to a "different" type of ride and turning, but everything works great. The basket is a nice addition. We have had the bike abour 3 weeks and although I might have added the 3-speed option for ease of riding on a hill, the bike is exactly what we wanted.
I chose the option of having it deliverered and put it together myself, which was a learning experience but actually easier than expected. The assembly reminded me of many Christmas' with new bikes for our daugher! Actually assembly took about 4 - 5 hours and various tools but I took my time and read the instructions slowly.

I purchased this trike coz I needed some sort of mobility to do my groceries & easily get arrd my neighbourhood. I have owned this trike for 2 weeks & its been amazing. I get complements from people where ever I go with it. Pple are amazed coz trikes are'nt seen everday + its totally gorgeous, the colours' beautiful & Feminine. I am totally impressed with its performance & Yes I have already been recommending it to people in the last few days & I would recommend this to more people. Its totally worth it. I have no regrets.

I did not know that the bike needed to be put together, did not say this online. This is a deal braker for me. I had to hire someone to do this, so spent more money on this. I could have gone somewhere and spent less and it would be already put together.
