Nice bed for my daughter's 18" doll. It is a great value and it is made of wood! Much nicer than a plastic bed and better priced than other expensive doll beds.

The canopy does not stay on the bed at all. I'll need to come up with a fix for it. Also, when putting together the wood split on the bottom of one of our beds (we bought 2). A few little home adjustments and quick fixes will make this a good bed but as it sits its just ok. A child over 8 would not be impressed however I think my kindergartner and under will enjoy them for a few months until they break.

Don't waste your money on an American Girl bed....this one is 25$ bucks and super cute..no mattress though..just a little padded cover...but the bed is made well...comes in a flat box..some light assembly required...highly recommended!

I'm thrilled with the Badger bed. It arrived at the expected time at the store for pick=up. It's easy to put together but I tighten one screw a little too tight and the wood started to split. I hope it holds up & the kids won't sit on it. The canopy does sag in the middle as I read in other reviews so my husband is a Welder and made a metal part to attach across the middle as extra support. I'm also sewing "Fancy" appliques like lace, sparkles, bows etc. to make it extra "fancy" for my "Fancy Nancy Girl" on Christmas morning. I can't wait to see her reaction. It's adorable, the construction seems good so far and plenty of room for an 18" doll.

I purchased two Canopy Beds as my grandaughter has two American Girl dolls. I found the bed very nice for the price. Had a problem with one of the rails when putting together, it split when putting the screws in as screw holes were not pre drilled, I emailed Badger to please send another rail then noticed after I had sent the eamil another one was a little cracked so be careful when you assemble. Like the wood as to the Plastic

Perfect bed for American Girls at a much more reasonable price. Good quality. My only issue is that there is no top cover to put the dolls under...they have to lay on top of the covers. Other than that, a great bed! I would definately recommend!

Obviously this bed may not be as high of quality as other more expensive beds, but it fits the AG doll very well and does the trick just fine. There is no mattress (I had to remind myself that wasn't really necessary for "doll"), but the quality is fine and the assembly was very easy. My daughter thinks it's great.

Good bed for AG dolls

Got this for my 8-year-old daughter to use with Felicity and Elizabeth dolls. Not too difficult to assemble (but you essentially have to build the whole thing -- allow an hour), but the metal pieces for the canopy don't fit perfectly; as a result the wood supports cracked a bit when screwing on the metal parts, but it seems ok. There's also nothing to hold the canopy in place. And, it may not be sturdy enough for a little girl (say, under 7) who is rough with toys. All that said, we're happy with it and would recommend it. It's sturdy enough for proper doll use, and is a lovely, mostly traditional-looking canopy bed that looks good in any girl's room. It's a bit tight for two AG dolls but my daughter has no problem with it and loves it; she poses them reading in bed and it looks like it's made for them. It's a good value for the money.

My Daughter loves this bed. She took the canopy off because she has it right next to her own bed and likes to be able to look over and see her doll. She was so happy to receive it from Santa and calls it an american girl doll bed even though it is not Legit. She doesn't know the difference and it was about 100.00 cheaper. Only con is in the picture it looks like there is bedding. If you actually use the gingham print part for bedding then there is nothing for the doll to lay on except wood. I think i am going to buy some bedding and a pillow for her.

did not get this bed it is what I ordered but got the bunk bed instead. It was to late to reorder for Christmas so I just let it be. I was disappointed and when I went back to website the bed was gone so there was no way to reorder. the bunk bed is okay but she only uses top bed kinda a waste which is why i ordered the bed i did.

I bought this for my friend's daughter who asked Santa for a bed for her American Girl doll! After looking at the prices at different beds, this one was very cute, looked more expenisive than it is & fits the American girl doll perfectly! I can't see spending hundreds of dollars for accessories for the American girl doll when the doll is over 100 to begin with and let's be honest, how long are kids really going to play with this stufff before it's being stored away & not thought of! :)

The bed is very cheaply made when we assembled it noticed small crack in the upper boards which proceeded to crack work while assembling,emailed the company tho,and they did send replacement parts within two days. the little mattress is like two pieces of matterial and the canopy will never stay on while kids play with it.

I purchased 2 of these beds for my 2 dtrs American Girl Dolls. The bed is inexpensive (comparably) and sturdy. I took the advise of another review and purchased some foam to use as a mattress and then I also sewed my own bedding in colors my girls like because I wasn't particularly fond of the gingham. They turned out Great! I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Excellent do not hesitate to purchase. Bought this for my stepdaughter for Christmas to accompany her American Girl doll she was getting. Just put it together and it is adorable and the quality is very good. Certainly this item can directly compete with it's more expensive competition.
