Dirt Devil Extreme Power Stick Vacuum

This product was purchased to help with the dog hair problem on my hardwood floors. It is an amazingly simple, effortless vacuum to use. I love that I can switch from 'floor' to 'carpert'. The 'carpet' switch is for smaller area rugs and it picks up the dog fur very well. For the money this is an excellent product.

We replaced carpet with new tile and needed a "broom" type vac for quick pick ups as well as general traffic pattern quick cleaning. We have used others and were not satisfiend. This one works and is easy to use, worth every penny.

This unit is great for picking up little debris like pet hair,lint,small crumbs,etc.without having the bring out the larger vacuum.I use it daily for picking up the dog hair from our Labrador that sheds alot.Will also do a good job on the little pieces of the "Milk-Bones" he leaves behind.It has a carpet/floor roller that can be switched on and off to use with the vacuum action.Don't expect it to pick up coins,broken crayons,etc. It's not for that.Also pivots around furniture,table legs,etc.I get about 4 days off a single charge (2 Hours overall) before it starts to loose it's performance and has to be set into it's charging platform.Overall it is a great piece of equipment that is highly recommended for it's performance and at a price that won't put you back alot.I paid just over $53.00 and that was with tax and Wal-Mart delivering it to my home.

I have bought so many different little vacuums, brooms, dust mops, etc. to use on my wood floors, I could start my own resale shop!! I immediately assembled this little vacuum and started charging it. I let it charge a full 24 hours before using it. I have 2 cats, 2 dogs, 2 parrots, and 3 kids! I usually have to get my big shop vac out to pick up all the bird seed, cat litter, and sand from the kids' shoes. I have worn out brooms and dust mops, only to see that all they really did was get the big stuff and spread the sand around. THIS LITTLE GUY IS AMAZING !! Not only does it pick up dried corn from the birds, and cat litter, you can glide it with one finger. It truly is amazing. Best investment in cleaning item I probably made in a number of years!! It just floats on wood, tile, smooth surface floors. It will work okay on carpet, but save this to use on wood, etc. I kept the little basket empty, which takes 2 seconds. I cleaned about 1000sq ft before it acted like it needed to be back on the charger. I just keep it in the mudroom, sitting on the charger. It's ready to go all the time. Great for last minute clean-ups before Dad comes home!

I recently had a knee replacement and I also have 3 dogs...with lots of hair! Wanted something that I would be able to manage to pick up dog hair..while using a walker or cane. This is GREAT!! Lightweight to push but great picker-upper and I use it everyday!

The beauty of this vacuum is that you don't have a cord to plug while you are vacuuming. This makes it perfect for stairs and quick vacuuming.
The only thing is that I can't tell apart yet the Floor-Carpet feature, this is kind of confusing, but I change it until it does what I want.

This is a very nice product for quick cleanups. Lightweight and powerful.

Bought this vacuum for a quick and easy way to clean up pet hair from our hardwood floors. Because it's cordless and light, it's a breeze to grab and quickly get up the dog hair from my hardwood floors in just a few minutes. It does a great job. I have never tried this on carpet.

I have only had it a few weeks, so I can't speak to durability, but I LOVE this thing. With a cat, a one-year-old, and hard woods/tile throughout my home, I'm not sure how I've gone so long without this. I agree with everyone that it's not a replacement for a corded vacuum, but a supplement to it. I hate lugging the vacuum out, so I don't do it that often, leaving my floors covered in kitty litter and crumbs from my toddler. I've used this almost every day as it is so convenient. It picks up kitty litter, pine needles, hair, and most under-highchair crumbs. It has a hard time with anything damp (like rice under the highchair before it dries out or damp pine needles). It keeps a charge plenty long enough to do a 1300 square foot home. It may not work as well as a corded vac, but I actually use it frequently (it's almost fun). A corded vac left in a closet certainly isn't very useful either!
