This vacuum does exactly what I wanted. Good suction, lightweight, easy to use. I love the long cord. Emptying the dirt cup is tricky but I got it. I wish it had a floor brush for the attachments. I have carpet and wood floors. It stores easily with the telescoping handle.

This little machine is a monster! It cleans so much better than even my much more expensive vacuum! Easy to empty and no bags! great feature! Works well on bare floors and carpeting! I like the hose attachment for getting into the tiny spaces!
I have had a Dirt Devil before, and ,(am), very pleased with that one too! (It's 10 years old and still works great! I use it for dh's shop area)

This vacuum really gets up the dirt - in my opinion as well, if not better than a much higher priced vacuum. Really like it - was a great price and would definitely recommend this vacuum to others.

I bought this vacuum for our camper, and it does the job very well. My only complaint is that the hose for the attachments is not very long at all! It is stretched to the absolute limit in order to reach the back of the couch and chairs, and in some spots will not even reach at all.

Very powerful little vacuum cleaner for such a low price! We have only had for a week but we have been pleased with this Dirt Devil! We have had expensive vacuum cleaners in the past andthey didn't last long for the price. This may outlast the others. I don't remember them working as welll as this one in picking up dirt in the carpet!

I live in a motorhome,so I needed a compact vacume.Dirt Devil has had good products in the past,so I thought I would give them a try.The design is good, but the power isn't.The filter clogs very fast, and you lose most suction....fast.Usage in a regular house would entail constant cleaning of the filter.

I have had this vacuum for about two weeks now and I love it. I do all of my bare floors and my living room rug and it works like a charm. Also, it is so light so I just move it from room to room. Great purchase without spending a fortune.

This is a light weight vacuum which is definitely an added benefit from old vacuums previously owned. That feature along with the immense suction power makes it 1 of the best vacuum cleaners ever owned by us. I just hope this thing stays reliable and light weight design doesnt cause durability issues.

I have a tiny 1 bdrm studio, and I live alone so I don't need much. No pets.
It picks up quite well on short shag carpeting, but the height level is NOT adjustable. On bare floors, it picks up quite well also, and with out spitting stuff out & across the floor. The cord is plenty long enough. The hose usage is very short & limited, and not very strong suction, but it works. It's just that it pulls the vacuum body down with it when doing cracks/corners along wall bases. The dirt cup is very easy to use, but you MUST clean the re-usable filter with EVERY usage. I brush it all out with an old toothbrush & also tap it on the garbage can edge, bcz this vacuum does pick up so well, so the filter is super caked with dusty-debris with every use. I can see the filter itself will last several months before needing replacement, with my 2-3 times per month of vacuuming. I love how small & light it is. My 4yr old grandson loves that he can use it, it's just his size with the handle pushed down and fits very well in my closets.

It is true that the vacuum cleaner makes quite a high pitched noise but since we have a small apartment, I don't have the vacuum cleaner running long enough to be bothered by the sound. It's a great compact vacuum cleaner and perfect for those who have a small area to vacuum. It picked up a lot of stuff!!! I would recommend it for the price.

Got this vacuum delivered to my house for just over 50 bucks with tax. Plugged it in not expecting much, but WOW did it pick up everything from my carpet! I have 2 cats, and when I was done and looked at the canister it was completely full of cat hair. That means this thing must have very good suction, because the only other vacuum I have used in the past that picks up that much hair is a $500 high end model that I borrowed from a friend one time to do a 'deep' cleaning. I also love the small size, it gets into a lot of areas that larger vacuums cannot. Another benefit is the handle that you can push down into the machine, which enables you to store it in a very tiny space. Also, it is very easy to push since it's so light weight.
Bottom line, even if I had to replace this every year it's still an amazing vacuum for the price. But from what I understand, if you take care of it and replace the filter every 6 months it should last a lot longer than that. Excellent value for the money, very satisfied customer here. My only regret is that I did not buy it sooner.

We had a similar model from another company but it was getting old and parts were breaking so this was a replacement and was very close to the size and weight but with HEPA filter which is a plus that the other vaccumn did not have.
