The handlebar assembly directions were a bit vague and difficult to put together , but once assembled, it's basically just plug in, charge overnight, then off you go.

I purchased this scooter for my 12 yr old daugter. I assembled it in about 15 minutes and chargered the battery and it was ready to go. She loves it. It has plenty of power to give me a good ride also. I weigh 220lbs. I strongly reccomend this product.

This is a great scooter. It was a gift for my 11 year old son from Santa Claus. He loves it and is having a great time riding. The online purchase worked out very well and the scooter was delivered to my local store on time as promised by Wal-Mart.

The scooter has been great so far. Our 8-year-old grandson loves it. It performs well. The only problem we have seen is the brake lever is a bit big for a small hand.

i really enjoyed riding it around although the fun stopped when the battery wouldn't charge anymore. The wires would disconnect while you were riding sometimes too. But overall it's a fun toy but not reliable.

I got this about a year and a half ago. Oh, lots of fun. Until the battery no longer takes a charge after about a year. Finding a battery is an online search only. No retailers have it. Then you have to pay $75 for the battery plus shipping which is quite a bit since they are so heavy.
I would say, if you don't mind using it for a year and tossing it out after that... get it. It is fun and easy to use.

This is a very good produsct. I only had one problem though. I got the Scooter on Sept. 6, 2007 and the throtle contol went out on it and now my son won't be able to use it the rest of the fall do to not hveing the part availble for it and there is no garentee that that is the problem with the scooter until we get the part in the middle of Oct. If that is not the problem then we may have to look at getting another one or getiing something different for him and that was his Birthday present form his Dad.

I bought this for my 10 yr old daughter from a local Wal-Mart. Assembly wasn't bad, but could have been simpler on the handlebars. Took my husband about a hour, but most was due to something being misaligned during shipment, if not for that, probably 30 minutes tops. My daughter absolutely loves it. She rides around our neighborhood and to friends. It is easy to operate and manuever. The battery last for about 45 minutes of continous riding.
Then she plugs the charger in about 20 minutes and takes off again. She will do this repeatadly until night and then plugs it in for a full nights charge. She weighs about 60 lbs and I have noticed when I ride it the battery drains more quickly ( about 35 minutes ), so weight is a factor to how long a charge last. However it rides great with me on it and goes about the same speed. ( I weigh 120 )
I have come to love it and jump on it instead of in my car to make short trips around the neighborhood. I always recommend a helmet, knees & elbow pads, which wal-mart carries a set of for about $20.00 just in case.
