I highly recommend this backpack. My seven year old enjoys it very much. You get a lot for the price compared to other backpacks of equal value. My seven year old fills this backpack with 4 to five regular size books, along with her winter boots, it's very durable...

Very rarely do you see anything of Pirates of the Caribbean using lavendar colors, yet this one was so perfect and girly. My daughter loves it! And the price was awesome.

I bought this backpack for my 6 yr old daughter who just LOVES Captain Jack Sparrow. It's definitely nothing special other than the really cool picture of Capn Jack. What you see is what you get, a backpack with a large compartment and a smaller one in front. That's it. No other bells and whistles included. The quality is comparable to most of the other character oriented backpacks, Barbie, Strawberry Shortcake, Tinkerbell, etc. My daughter is happy with it and it should survive her kindergarten year, so that's all that really matters

Great for young girl who likes pirates, especially Jack! A bit small for those big zipper closure notebooks. Simple two zippered pocket design, not alot of pockets to loose things in.
