My 8 year old Grandson wanted an electric guitar. I shopped everywhere. I found out that a person either has some talent for playing the guitar or they don't. Some really great guitar players told me that he would either be playing in a month or it would be gathering dust. The least amount I found this same set for was $139.00 but it was worth the money to see if I am living with Eric Clapton or not. It came with everything and if he continues to play we can get a new plug in AMP although the one it came with has great sound and volume. I would recommend this to anyone who is considering an eclectic guitar for a beginner. It has great sound and we feel he might have talent! Of couse that is what Grandma is suppose to say!

I was looking for a good starting guitar for my daughter and I stumbled upon this one. For the price paid, this is a great guitar. I recommend other in the same situation to go with this product. So far my daughter loves it. I could have spent $200 or more for a similar quality guitar, but this guitar is just as good for much less. I figure that if she really gets good at playing the guitar, later on we can buy her a better quality guitar at a higher price. If she ends up not using it at all, at least not a lot of money was spent.

I am a 50 plus grandmother that wanted a good guitar to learn on. It was recommended to me to learn on an electric guitar. I have heard of Beringer and thought it was a good product. This guitar is well worth the dollar for a learner like me. The amp is a little less than desired, but for learning it is fine. Later on down the line I can purchase a finer amp and still have a good guitar. I am very happy with my purchase of this product for what I intend to use it for. Thanks for carrying it.

8 year old son just started to play guitar & take lessons, this set is perfect!!!! Looks cool, keeps in tune, small amp right size for apartment dwelling, good sounding instrument. Get yourself a small pair of headphones and kid can plug it into amp and disturb no one, pick youself up a guitar stand as well. good product, very pleased, just wish we had the choice of colors/patterns displayed on box.

My 10 year old son really wanted an electric guitar for Christmas. I saw this on Walmart.com and thought I would try it based on the previous reviews. My son is tickled pink with this guitar and so am I! It comes with everything he needed to get going, with a nice chord chart and book. The book referenced the manufacturer's website, which also contained helpful information. The guitar is small enough for him to use easily but I am able to play it as well. An excellent deal.
