Sanyo Xacti VPC-T700 Brown 7.0 MP Digital Camera, 3x Optical Zoom & 2.5" LCD

I bought this camera a while ago because it appeared to have a lot of useful features. While the features were numerous, the quality of pictures were quite poor. The photos were generally pretty blurry. This camera does not not do well at all taking pictures in low light. I would not recomend the purchase of this camera. I would spend a little more money to get something a little higher in quality.

I got this as a Christmas present for a friend under a deal which included memory card and case for $70 and the camera stopped working within a week. I feel sorry for the friend who lost all the Christmas photos. The display panel asked to contact the 1-800 # (Sanyo Customer Service). It seems to be a usual problem for this camera. After a lengthy procedure of returning back the camera for repair I got a response back from the service centre that they do not have this model or any comparable model so will issue a refund for the just the camera and not memory card and the case. The same model is still on sale here.
I would not suggest this model, unless you are trying to dump your $$ down the drain and risk loosing your pictures.

This camera cost about $80 - a little pricey for what you get. It takes good photos if your subject is not moving and you hold the camera still. But, if your subject is moving at all, then it's a no go. The camera only takes about 45 seconds of video total. Battery doesn't last quite long enough. I haven't yet tried using it as a web cam. It's a good camera for the money, and a good one for a first digital camera, although it should be priced a good bit lower.

I bought this camera on 11/8/08 for $76.83 it works good till 02/09/09 and after that the pictures comes up black all dark images, i dont know why?
Today i called sanyo service they said we are sorry ....you are out of warranty period of 2 days so you have to pay $120.00 when you ship it to us after that the service parts wil be extra so what you will expect me to say about this camera ...it did'nt work for me I wasted my money on this cheap price camera i cant recommend this to any one

i bought this camera four months ago it worked perfectly fine. Then one day it was stuck on zoom and when i would hit the zoom in and out button it would tell me error. this is not a camera to buy if you want it to last long. i would not recommend this at all.

This camera is wonderful. Its compact, takes very clear pictures. Its simple to use. No batteries that need constant changing and its VERY reasonably priced. The camera has gone 2 days of almost constant photo shots with my kids and not run low on life. I would recommend this camera to anyone looking for a great digital camera that doesnt cost an arm and a leg.

This camera has to be charged like a cell phone. I do not like that.

I purchased this camera for my teenage daughter as a Christmas gift. The picture was very grainy compared to other brands with the same 7.0 mp. She is satisfied however I would return if it was for me. Quality of the picture is too poor.
