This versatile model has a built-in NTSC/ATSC/QAM digital tuner to bring you regular analog broadcasts, over-the-air digital broadcasts and unscrambled digital cable channels, where available. But it also has a built-in DVD player and stereo sound so you can enjoy DVDs and CDs, too. Other highlights include a variety of inputs and outputs for connecting audio and video components or even your computer. Note: You must have a source of HD programming in order to take full advantage of an HDTV. Otherwise, the picture quality of an HDTV without an HD source may not be much better than that of a standard-definition TV. Overall this isn't a bad TV for the money! I also have a 32" Samsung to compare it to, and I like the Samsung much more! The sound is a little weak. I have to crank it up to hear it. Also, the picure quality isn't bad for what I paid for it. If you buy 720, you get 720. My only other issue with this product is that it only has 1 HDMI port. My cable box and PS3 both use HDMI. Do you see my problem! I had to get the cable company to get me some composite cables for my cable box. This would be a better tv if it had at least 2 HDMI ports.

We went from a 19" old fashioned TV to this one so we're in heaven! We have no problems with the sound like other people had said in their reviews. It's A perfect TV for us! It does take a little time for channels to register, but that doesn't bother me al all! Good price, great TV and DVD!!!!

There is a delay when turning on the tv, and the sound has a bit of an echo. The picture can be made to look good, however at the moment I am not using cable on this TV. I think the for the price and if you have cable this is a good buy. Not a great buy but a good buy.

This TV hits the "sweet spot" in terms of the largest sharpest screen for the money before prices really start climbing. I use this just for a DVD player, as I've decided to rid myself of TV but it is extremely sharp and has excellent deep blacks. A great bargain, and it is easy to move from room to room, which was another reason I bought this, to keep my living room uncluttered.

We bought the TV for our 83 year old Mother for her birthday. She wanted a tv that included the DVD player so she wouldn't have to fiddle with another product. When the box arrived (the following week...very prompt) it had a puncture hole in it, which worried us, however, when we took it out of the box, it was packaged well enough to withstand the tear in the box. We set it up for her and the set matched all of our expecations. It was not difficult to set up and she is very happy with it. The only issue was that we forgot to show her how to turn it on, so she watched another tv in the house until we came back a few days later and saw that she was still unsure how to use it. She is okay with it now and we have purchased a few movies for her to enjoy. thank you for your easy manner of on-line ordering. It was easy and we appreciated not having to run around town looking for the best priced item for the money. It was a great value in both our time and ease of shopping.

I bought this TV becasue I was in need of one for my dorm room. I paid $580 with tax and it was a great deal. It was amazing that it had a built in DVD player. The only thing wrong is that it takes about 10-15 seconds to turn on and channel changing can be a little slow. But other than that the volume is great, I can usually hear the TV if the volume is set at about 10-12, so sound quality is good. If you are looking for a bargain and a nice product, buy this TV, you won't be disappointed.

Needed a replacement tv for an old 20" that sound went out on, so did some searching and found this one.Good ole WALMART done me right and I am very satisfied with this buy.The tv picture is clear as a bell and the sound is just awesome.Didn't need anything fancy like high def or anything but wanted a large screen for the wife and this screen is plenty big for us.The tv is a sleek black and even bought a black stand for it to match and looks awesome in bedroom.I'm pretty sure it's worth the money and i highly recommend it if your looking for a nice priced tv that looks and sounds good!!!

I was very excited about buying this TV because of the low price and the DVD combo. I did get it but I'm not happy. Even though the picture is clear it's not sharp. The faces have a lot of pixels. Sort of looks like if the person has been painted in watercolors. Even in HD you don't see the skin on people. You see the face as if it's painted as I said in watercolor. Weird! I called RCA but they had no idea and could not help me. Even when I put on the DVD it's the same. Can anyone tell me if they are experiencing the same as me as to the picture quality not being able to see the skin so sharp but pixeled?
