You can record directly to 3-inch DVD-R/RW discs that hold up to 60 minutes of video or to 3-inch DVD-R dual-layer discs that can store up to 108 minutes. Or take still photos and store them on optional mini SD memory cards. Additional noteworthy features include an image stabilization system that instantly corrects for unintentional camcorder shake and a 1000x digital zoom. Contains a mini SD card slot for memory cards and a USB Hi-speed terminal. PictBridge-compatible.

My wife uses it considerably more than I do. She LOVES it! DVD's are really easy to navigate on the TV Screen. Plugs in easily to the TV for big screen viewing. Great product. Highly recommended. Downside...no carrying case/ travel case included.

I really like it. After recording your scene, you can play it directly to your DVD. No need to record it first then play it. The weight is laso very light which make it easy to take with you literally anywhere.
Only minus, doesn't come with the SD mini card and the mini discs that go with it are a little bit expansive. Need bright lighting conditions for night filming.

This video recorder is simple to use. The instruction manual is easy to follow and set up. Take great pictures the first time you use it. The only problem I had was the local store did not have the mini-DVD's or the memory card for the still photos. Had to go to another store to get those.

I think this is a great camera except that it is hard to figure out how to get it to record. I think that it should be easy that even a child can operate it..this is NOT.
I feel that you need to be an engineer to start this thing. As they say, if all else fails...read the instructions. The instructions are part of the problem...they are not written for the common person.
