Although there were some problems ordering this product, it is worth it. My students in my Environmental Science class are amazed on most parts of the "documentary" movie. Four times my orders to Walmart were cancelled but I never stop trying and when the hindrance was solved everything went on smoothly and the products (laptop & this DVD) arrived fast. I am from Saipan. Thanks!

My husband and I love this series! I think the bluray would probably have a better picture, but even the regular dvds are great. It arrived very quickly. I would recommend this to everyone.

If you are expecting Sigourney Weaver don't buy this. Nowhere on the product description page does it warn you that David Attenborough narrates. I wanted this set for Sigourney Weaver's calm, soothing narration. Attenborough sounds like a Monty Python character, it is very annoying. I didn't even know there was an Attenborough narration version, it says on the back of the box but I didn't look, cause I didn't know. I got home, put in my 1st dvd and that's when I realized. I hope Walmart will let me return:(

Aswesome! Each disc has 3 separate titles so you get over 15 hours of unbelievable footage. The "diaries" at the end of each one were cool too. Don't skip any parts or you'll miss allot. If you like nature and wildlife this will be your favorite.

I bought the planet earth DVD as a gift to my 82 year old grandpa who is glued on to national geographic channel. This was like a collection that he can treasure and view it any time he wants. He said its something everyone should have it at home. He absolutely loved the collection. :)

I must admit, when I first heard about the Planet Earth series for the Discovery Channel, I wasn't that interested. The Christmas following it's release on DVD my grandmother received it as a gift and we all watched it. I was blown away by the sheer volume of beauty in the nature that has been captured on these discs. I didn't want to stop watching it and I finally went out and bought my own set. I watch it over and over; it never ceases to amaze me.

Iv'e watched PLANET EARTH three times since I purchased it. It only gets better with viewing, each time I've viewed it I discover interesting topics I mised from the previous viewing and I gained a better understanding of the episodes that I had already viewed. great way to see the world and it wonders from your arm chair great for family viewing.
