I shopped online quite a bit before purchasing this highchair. I wanted one-handed tray operation, reclining option, height adjustment, and rolling capabilities. I chose this chair in white so I could use it with all my kids and grandkids and not have it look dated in years to come. Tan would've also been a good neutral choice. The white one has a black trim around the top that doesn't show that well online so I thought I'd mention that. My baby is 6 months and big for his age and this chair seems big for him, so he will fit in it for a long time. My 2 older kids ages 6 and 4 both fit in it. The tray comes off with one hand but doesn't go back on with one hand very well because it has to be lined up perfectly to slide back in. I love that the highchair rolls; I use that feature many times a day. The casters can lock also to prevent it from rolling. The chair came assembled; all we did was put the castors in on the bottom and it was done. I have not tried to wash the straps yet, as my baby only eats baby food right now, but I know those straps are going to get so messy when we start table food. The fabric on the high chair seems very easy to wipe down. My husband thinks white was not a good choice because it will show food more, but I think that no matter what color you get, you are going to have to wipe down the chair a ton anyway, so might as well get the color you want. I think it will be a good chair.
