Fits in standard sockets with just the right amount of light .
We use these in lamps with glass shades so they aren`t over heated when in use.
Nice price for 6 bulbs.

These GE bulbs work great. I use them in my outdoor under-eve sockets without any covers. GE stands behind them to last for the stated hours and, if they don't, they'll send you replacements. Just make sure you get Soft White not Daylight if trying to match them to incandecent's.
