Microbiology is hard to learn because it is full of detail and sometimes it is difficult to keep the right details associated with the right organisms. I think this book does an amazing job of giving you tips on how to associate the right details with the right pathogen. Don't get me wrong, using this book is not a miracle cure for learning microbiology, you still need to understand all the details, but it really helps you keep them organized in your head.
