Bought the futon for my boy's playroom and to use as another bed for kids that sleep over.

Fantastic futon as the mattress does not slide it is attached! Great Thickness....

Easy to assemble....

The only thing is this is VERY Heavy my suggestion is to pay for the delivery it is worth it not to have to carry it from the store to car to your home.

This is a very nice, comfortable and easily built piece of furniture. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised. Folds down into a bed in seconds.

in bed mode, there is a very hard bar running down the center (from head to toe). you can sleep on either side of this bar, but not in the middle of the bed. given that it really isn't that wide, it's a problem. I'm perplexed why so few people reviewing this thing mention this issue.

in couch mode, it's fine.

whether this item is "too firm" is obviously a matter of opinion. in mine, it isn't too firm. but given the poor design and corresponding poor function, it's not worth the money.

This lounger is like a lawn chair - only a lot more comfortable! It can be a couch, a bed, or a two person recliner. My two teenagers love it! Very practicle.

When looking at Walmart.com, it seems that this was the best futon available, based on reviews. It did not disappoint. This futon was as expected. We have family coming in this weekend and they will sleep on it. It is very firm, but otherwise VERY comfortable.

This futon/couch is amazingly functional with all it's different positions, and is great for first apartments. It has an ultra-modern, sleek design, and a really clean look. However, it's not very cozy. It's only comfortable to sit on in an upright position, and only comfortable to sleep on if you avoid laying right on the center of the futon because you can feel the support bar through the coushins. Additionally, the throw pillows/armrests don't really function as armrests. They just kind of sit there and often times are annoying and get in the way, but are WAY too short to rest your arms on. And the cousins are exceptionally firm, which, combined with the lack of armrests, makes it feel like you took a few pillows, layed a couple on the floor, rested a couple agains the wall, and sat on them. Only it's up higher and it's not lumpy. Now, with all that being said, it's not uncomfortable, but it's not really cozy or homey either. Cool for hanging out, but that's about it.

And on an even more seperate note... it's not a good value for the money.

I purchased this online and then read the reviews afterwards. I was a little nervous about recieving it after reading some of the reviews. I must say that after recieving it I am more than happy with it. It is surprisingly comfortable and looks nice in the room. I have only used it as a couch so far so I cannot comment on the use as a bed. The only complaint I have is that the armrests are not attached in anyway so they will fall off.

This is a nice sofa and it is very easy to convert to bed or lounger. Very minimum installation was required. It is a little firm to be used as a bed on a regular basis.

Although this product is very firm as a couch, it is also very firm as a bed and easy to sleep on. It becomes a full size bed and was comfortable for two adults to sahre.
