Velvet Blackout Energy Efficient Curtain Panel, Black

These curtains cover a large slider and big window in a south and west facing living-room. We have double pain windows but still the cold penetrates the room. My husband and I could not believe how beautiful they are but more than that how they stopped the cold. We are now looking forward to seeing how they stop the heat the same way. Also was very hard to watch tv while the sun was still up, but they now make the room very dark which helps for tv viewing.

I'm getting the other 3 just to black out the whole living room too. :)

Purchased these curtains on 8/20 and rec'd them 8/25. Everything was perfect except the color . I have black velvet theater chairs and the curtains looked espresso instead of black. Other than that the quality was good and they looked great but they'll be going back . Not now, but right now!

I live in Arizona and these make a BIG difference with the afternoon sun!! The only problem is....the panels ONLY come in 84". Even if the drop down box allows you to select another size you ONLY get 84". Since these were a 2 pair package I ordered 2 sets of two, and then a separate single panel for another single window and only the separate single panel came in 96". Since these have been sold out and they aren't really available in the longer size I need, I decided to keep them anyway so they are functional but they look "unfinished" with so much wall showing beneth them.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of these curtains. Great product for a very reasonable price. I had been looking for some nice curtains and these really look great. I highly recommend them!

I am very pleased with this black out curtain. It is a sturdy curtain that will block out light. If you sleep during the day and need darkness this is the product to have. Well worth it. As a day worker myself, it allows me to sleep in on the weekends as the morning sun used to radiate into my room. No more!

I ordered 4 panels of these curtains on Dec. 5th, and did not receive them until January 15th. I know its the fact that I live in Guam, but when I received the package, the box was completely torn to shreds. I was extremely disappointed in this way, but since the curtains were still in perfect condition I had no complaints. I have a huge wall of windows that I was going to use these curtains on, but sadly, I did not order enough panels. I do not plan on buying more since they will take so long to ship here. And although I spent over 100 dollars on this purchase, I am pleased to say that it's a small amount compared to other black out curtains I have seen elsewhere. Overall, since I have hung the curtains I have now, they block out almost all of the light! they look great too. They also really help keep out the heat which is a definite plus out here. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone living in the U.S. but if you are like me, living somewhere else, get the quicker shipping, otherwise you will be wondering if they lost your package or sent it somewhere else. Although I am still angry about how long it took and that I don't have enough curtains, I still love them to death. Great buy.

it defly blocks out light. i purchased this to darken the baby's room to help with naps. her room is painted yellow and when the sun shines thru the white blinds it is just too bright and distracting. we only bought one panel as i wasnt looking for total darkness but it does its job plus seems to keep the room a TAD warmer. it hung well on a rod. the wrinkles smoothed out on its own. no chemical smell. nice and heavy. light comes thru the sides of the window but like i said, we just bought one panel. cheapest compared to other stores like target. id defly recommend this.

I have three windows that are almost the exact width of the curtains. The windows are separated by 6" of wall (so window, wall, window, wall, window)

I bought 3 drapes and the cover just the window so I am about to order two more panels. (You need 5-6 panels to cover 120 inch width)

They are awesome. i woke up this morning, went in the living room and thought it was still night time. Even though they barely cover the window, nothing gets thru them. Im so excited to get more!

Also, there are two tabs at the top so you can customize the length to your preference.
