Hoover Mach3 Cyclonic Upright Bagless Vacuum

I have had this vacuum for a little over a year now and I love how much pet hair it picks up. I have 3 cats and a dog so I really needed something that could suck up the hair. Its easy to clean but must be emptied after every vacuum. The cord is very long so that is a plus! My complaints are that is is top heavy so it tips easily, the hose has to be cleaned a lot or it will not suck which some times you have to clean the filters in order for the hose to work. It has a small set of wheels that actually adjust the height that broke twice. It seems they made it of cheap plastic when they should have used metal in that particular area. I would really recommend this if your pets shed a lot!

Didn't even get to use it. Put together product as stated in the manual....the thing wouldn't even start. I tried several outlets on several different walls and got nothing. I ordered this online rather than buying one in the store because I thought it was a great deal. Never again. Worthless. Took it back and bought a cheaper one that actually does work really well.

I've had this vacuum for about 3 months. It definitely gets the job done for what I need it to do. It has great suction and is also easy to clean out the filter and dirt compartment.

This is a great value for the money. It is easy to maneuver, althought a little heavier than I expected. It picks up a lot more than my old vacuum. The attached pet hair tool works excellent to get cat hair off my couch. I think you are better off buying this model than something $20 cheaper that won't last or pick up dirt as well.

First, the thing barely stands up on its own. It's heavy and a mess to empty. The belts will break with the slightest resistance on the beater. Worse, Walmart seldom even has belts for this thing in stock. I had to order them online directly from Hoover and they're expensive. I've owned it about a year and I'm on its fifth or sixth belt.

I'm assuming this is a common problem with most Hoovers since their designs are all similar. So I'm staying away from the brand completely. Sad because I remember my mother having the same Hoover vacuum for most of my childhood. What happened Hoover?

I have owned other brands in the past, but this one is the best one of all. living in Florida, the grass here grows in sand and when you work in the yard you wind up bringing some into the house. this Vacuum, has taken a lot of sand out, where the others did not. I have only had it for 2 weeks now and use it every couple of days. The carpet now feels like the day it was put down

item was not what I expected and was returned before I left the store. did purchase the Mach 5 only downfall is that it heavy. attachments are great

I chose this vaccuum on the advice of someone who cleans homes for a living. I thought, well if she uses it every day then it has to be good...NOT!! FOR SEVERAL REASONS #1 After the first four uses the telescoping handle broke-so I returned it and received an exact replacement. OK time wasted there... #2 Emptying the "bagless" canister is a mess of dust particles. You inhale half of what you are trying to dump out. What doesn't get in the garbage bag, sticks all over the vaccuum. #3 The hoses are WAY TOO SHORT to reach anything- I have had the bruises to my body and the gashes to my hardwood floors to prove it. #4 The electric cord is too short also. I spend half of my time having to plug it in every outlet in my average sized house. #5 After about 15 uses, the hose has collapsed on itself making it impossible to use!!! At this point, I have joked with my husband that I am going to enjoy watching it being crushed in the garbage truck on garbage day!! What a waste of my time, energy, and money!!!!!! I WON'T BUY THIS MODEL AGAIN!!
