I bought this as a replacement for the medium sized backpack I normally use when travelling by air when I travel by air. I don't usually do carryon other than the backpack, but given the new limitations of extra charge for a 2d bag and for any bags over 50 pounds, I figured I better have an option for overflow in my carry-on. I haven't flown with it yet, but I am very happy with the quality and look of this bag. It's bigger than I thought. I'm looking forward to flying with this bag and carrying it on. Between the handles that you can use as a shoulder bag, and the wheels and pull out handle to roll it along, it should be quite handy. I love the red color too!

This bag was even better than expected. It was larger than I had thought and had features that I didn't notice online: for example, I hadn't seen the lock, and also when the handle is pushed all the way down there is a zipper around the compartment so that it's covered. Sturdy and well - made. I'm very pleased.
