Purchased this processor less than one year ago. Only used it maybe three or four times. Stopped working all of a sudden (without any warning). Thought it's still covered by warranty so called Haier. They are happy to replace it for me, but need to send the original unit to them (which is heavy, and don't think it's easy to find an appropriate box for it as the original box was thrown away), and I will have to pay a shipping cost for the new unit which is approx. 15 dollars. Plus the new unit will not be covered for one year warranty, only warrantied for the rest of time of my first unit. Considering the hassle of shipping the heavy stuff, the 15 dollar cost, and the potential of getting another lemon, the replacement could not be a very pleasant experience. So I give it 1 star.

I really liked this product. I got it for Christmas and used it 4-5 times week. Six months later the plastic bit on lid broke and would not connect with handle so machine would work. I was not hard on this product at all.

I'm on my 2nd of this unit since getting it as a Christmas present. It's my 1st food processor, so I can't really compare the features to others. It works fabulously well for my needs. Only problem is ~ the clear plastic bowl on the 1st unit cracked after the very 1st use. I've used this replacement unit 6 or 7 times and just noticed a 1/4" chip out of the rim. I'm not being rough on it. Don't know why this keeps happening, except that there's something wrong with the construction of the plastic.

I bought this food processor after an online research. It definitely meet my expectations, and I love it! I use it averagely 4-5 days/week. In just a few seconds, the job is done. The only thing I did not use was the dough function, since I bought a SunRise breadmaker from Walmart, and it works perfectly fine too!

I got this for my wife for Christmas '08, as it appeared to be a great value and had some positive reviews. Problem is, we never really got to see it work. After getting it setup, we tried the pulse feature. Right away, we heard a piece of plastic break. It happened to be the sensor that identifies if the container is on correctly. With that gone, the motor would not power up. You would think such a critical component would be made more durable. Anyway, my wife lost the desire to have this model, so we're now looking at a KitchenAid.

This is the fourth food processor I have purchased in the last 31 years, and I love it. It is definitely the most quiet I've ever had, and does everything I need it to do. I received it for Christmas and have used it twice, so I have not used every feature yet. However, the chopping and shredding I have done has been great. I do a lot of chopping, slicing, and shredding in my cooking so those features are very important to me. It will also mix dough which is a feature I use occasionally, so I couldn't be happier. I have paid almost twice this amount for other processors, so this one is a steal!

I purchased this for my daughter in OK. We used it to make her famous salsa. It worked great except the even on slow speed it kind of pureed everything. I liked the salsa that way but she didn't. Anyway, it looks real expensive for the price and I would recommend this product.

I have been in the food service industry for 20 years (10 years as a chef) and I have to say that I was completely dis-satisfied with this product. I shredded some cheddar and the motor bogged down and stopped continually. I am taking it back ASAP. I would not recommend to purchase. Maybe I have been spoiled with some of the industrial models, but I definitely expected more. Hope this helps.
