You should note that this product is not a hypnotic swing. If your baby is cranky it will not subdue him and put him to sleep miraculously. When my son can't seem to find the right position to settle in to sleep this swing works well. Or when he just needs to stare at his surroundings i can simply rest him down to be gently rocked and be self entertained. Firstly i was concerned about how sturdy the actual structure would be but it is pretty secure. Very cozy for my son and even when he is not in the swing i play the musical tunes &nature sounds for him to relax and sleep. I am very pleased with this purchase.

I've owned several swings between my three daughters and this one so far has been the best I had the butterfly version with my second daughter and now I have the starlight version with my third daughter. The motion soothes cranky babies and helps with gas and tummy discomfort and when they are awake it gives them toys a mobile and lights to follow along with different types of sounds/music. It's cheaper than a number of swings even though it's a bit pricey but it's worth every penny.

I have a a 19 month old and a 3 month old so needless to say I cant always hold my 3 month old or entertain him the way I'd like to cause I have to tend to my toddler as well. This swing is like my second set of hands. If you have a infant like mine which luckily for me loves to sleep this will be a life saver. My favorite features are that it plugs into an outlet and has two positions to recline. The newest swing is beautiful and all but requires D batteries. I'm glad I can just plug this swing in and its ready. And unlike other swings this reclines to let baby be more horizon so he can sleep or sit up more when he just wants to be entertain. Another feature I should mention that I've noticed isn't as common is the mobile also has lights for when its dark. Overall I love this swing and use it everyday.

After researching all types of swings, We purchased this cradle/swing for our 4 week old son who was not sleeping more than 2 hours at a time and very little at night. My husband put it together by himself, there are a lot of parts but it didn't take him too long. The first night we had it, our son fell asleep in the cradle position and slept for 5.5 hours for the first time! It was worth every penny we spent on it! He now sleeps in his crib but enjoys the cradle swing during the day. I highly recommend this one, it is worth the money!

I bought this swing for my nephew and he and my sister love me for it. It looks great and has all different features - lights and music, directional swing to keep the little guy relaxed and entertained. i worried about the fabric being so light and hard to keep clean, but there is actually a pattern on the fabric (it looked white to me in the picture). I priced it too, and it was at least $15 cheaper than anywhere else!

I love the fact this swing plugs in and uses batteries. We have only used it plugged in so far, but it's one less thing to have to worry about batteries for. Brooklyn loves to watch the mobile and lights go around, she really started noticing them at about 7 weeks old. I couldn't have found a better swing!! The two different positions for the seat are great and it was fabulous when she was newborn too and she was little bitty.

I purchased for my Daughter's baby shower after only having looked at it on line. Let me tell you, she loves it. Not only does she love it but my new grandson loves it as well, so much so he prefers the swing to almost anything (except Mommy)... The light show is just the neatest thing I promise. For those concerned about the periwinkle color, please don't be, it is very muted not overwhelming at all. Infact, my Daughter loved the color and that surprised me given she had gone overboard with the blue. Let me leave you with this, for the cost and time putting together, it was the most useful gift she has received. He loves it!!!!

My Son loves this swing. It has many features, adjustable speed, 3 seating positions, changes to a cradle, star lights and many music settings. The only downside is that the motor or something inside the swing makes a sound when I switch on the swing. Other than that the swing is perfect for baby and it makes my son sleepy. I also use this swing when I need time for lunch, getting a little break, shower etc. Works perfectly and thanks walmart for their unbeatable price.
