We bought it because of the good reviews we found on the Internet. Everything is just right except the swing speed, it's has different level of speed but the speed doesn't seem to change at all.. We don't see any difference. I don't know maybe its just us but me and my husband thinks ours have something wrong with it...

As soon as I opened it I out it right back in its box. The pattern is washed out faded and a terrible plaid. Something straight out of the early 90's! Just terrible. Oh and motor doesn't even work.

We had one of these for my daughter 3 year ago and we still use it for one of our twin boys. We would not get any sleep without it! It is great that it plugs in instead of using batteries.

Like some others were saying, our baby girl was premature also, 7 weeks. We had gotten this swing before she was born, not knowing of course that she would arrive so early. We brought her home a week after she was born, and this swing worked great for her. She loves it; she is now 15 months old and still using it, even as I type this. She is 18 lbs, so I guess we will continue to use it till she outgrows it at 25 lbs. It is so comfortable and is great for naps. I love the soft colors, and it is beautiful lit up in the dark. Everything about it is very soothing. Wish we'd had this for our son 6 years ago! I would recommend this swing over any of the others.

Overall we really like this swing. he best part about it is that it is very quiet and you can make adjustments to the swing, music, or mobile with the touch of a button vs a noisy dial. It is easy to adjust the recline and direction of the swing seat as well. I also think that the seat is cushioned enough and like that the neck/headrest pillow is not too thick. I have used other papasan swings that have thick pillows that caused my baby's neck to be flexed and I was worried about his ability to breathe. Things that I do not like are: the "starlight" feature is VERY bright and not good for at night because I can see it is very distracting to our baby. Also to get the mobile to turn you have to use the same control as the lights and that is a distraction as well when you just want the mobile on. If I was handy at electrical work, I would just disconnect the lights all together. I only gave the durability "average" ratings because I have only had it for a month so I can't say how long it will last.

Got this in the mail from walmart.com and I can tell it was a previous return the box was tapped up and once we got the legs out there was scuff marks at the base. I contacted Fisher Price to make sure, after reading reviews about motors quitting, that a replacement motor could be purchased if mine failed. A replacement is no longer available for this product but it does have a 1 year warranty if the motor failed they would exchange it. The swing has one speed and it's very pretty but I returned it. When I buy a new product I want a NEW product not a returned one.

We are expecting our third child but out first son in August, this swing is for a boy but could be used for a girl as well the blue isn't to blue. We love this swing although we have not had the chance to try it out with the baby, we think he will love it. It was a little difficult to put together and I did need help with the legs. The curtain came very wrinkled, but hopefully with time it will straighten out, the seat cover was hard to get on, but really the only complaint is that the curtain doesn't stay in place, it should lock into something but it just hangs around the swing. Besides that I love it and would recommend this product. :)

Received the package via site to store. The arm connecting the swing to the rest of it was missing. Called the product number in the manual and they were very nice and happily agreed to replace the product for me. Still waiting for it to come in. However I have used a similar model in the past, second hand, and it lasted through their children and then through two of mine. The lit up stars completed enchanted the children, and it was a godsend for my very fussy, high maintenance baby. It was the only place she would fall asleep on her own for a long time. I'd imagine this newer model will be the same. I looked solely for the plug in option as it saves on costly batteries and won't just stop working in the middle of the night due to drained battery life. Was delighted to find a swing that still has the lights also, not just the mobile! And the price was better here than other models and at other stores.

my son absolutely LOVES the light up mobile, it keeps him enthralled while I get chores done. I have to say he wasn't a huge fan of it at first but once he got a little older (2 months+) we really got some use out of it. I love that it has two position and plugs in too. The only semi-complaint I have is that I wish the pillow was detachable. I really liked it when he was smaller, (he was 5lbs when he left NICU)but now it kind of annoys him. I'd definitely call it baby blue.

this is not a baby blue color, its actually a light purple. i was very disappointed when i saw this in person. it was easy to put together. my son did not like this swing. he likes swings that are faster. this barely swings. i would recommend this if you have a calm baby that likes the slow movement. my son only liked looking at the lights from a far when i would hold him, but not in the swing :(

This is bed number 4 for my 8 week old. This is the only thing he will sleep in for longer than 20 minutes unless he is laying on your chest. This went together easily in about 30 minutes. The music is great and the volume can be adjusted to a nice low tone. I just wish it had a little more padding in the seat but it does have a nice little pillow. I feel that speed 1 is a little fast wish it woul go a little slower but it could just be me being worried for nothing :-). This was a great purchase and fast shipping and delivery.

I originally registered for this swing in Periwinkle after reading customer reviews and feeling confident that the color was more "blue" and would be fine for a boy, which is what I am having. When I received it, however, as soon as I opened the box, I knew I would be returning it. The color is most definitely lavender. Very pretty, but not exactly what I had in mind for my son. I returned this product in-store, and bought the same swing in the nite nite monkey design the same day. Other than the initial color issue, I LOVE this swing! Would definitely recommend to others, although I would suggest paying more attention to the color.

Pay no attention to the folks commenting on the color. Its really not that serious. It looks blue. My baby loves it!! I can put him in it and he will sleep for the whole day -in between meals of course lol. Bottom line, great product and well worth the money

I accidentally purchased this swing for my baby girl and well, shipped it right back. The grusome-looking monkey gets caught in the canopy and spins like crazy, which makes her absolutely petrified and burst out in cries! She's not afraid of the butterfly swing, however, so perhaps this swing will work for a boy, but I had to get rid of it asap...
