I had never heard of Dave Ramsey until my husband stumbled on his program on Fox Business. Even though we own our home, pay our credit cards off each month and only have one car payment, something about his book made me want to read it. I had questions like how can you rent a car, stay at a motel, etc and not use a credit card. Dave answers that in the book. It is such an easy book to read...almost like Dave is talking to you. It is a great book. We plan on getting our car paid off, and never financing another one. We're also going to stop using our credit cards and use Dave's method. When I bought the book I wasn't sure if it would apply to our age group but it definitely does. This book should be mandatory reading at the college level if not high school. The amount of money you can save over the years by not financing a car is astonomical. This book is well worth the money!

Every household in America needs this book. I kid you not. It offers practical ways to get out of debt and become financially free. Dave Ramsey is funny and yet knowledgeable. The real-life stories in the book make it easy to read, and the successes of others show that it is possible to become debt free.

This is a great book if you are really trying to get out of debt. Ramsey's teachings are great and ones that I am starting to apply in my own life to become debt free.

I was given this book after I purchase my house. I normally don't like reading self-help type books but this one was great. It seems no matter who you are or what your income is you will benefit from reading this book.

Tremendous read! Ramsey approaches ridding debt in a no-nonsense manner that is very practical. I would encourage those who are struggling in finances to get this book and apply all principles noted. Exceelent investment for anyone.

This book is a great personal finance information book, and I wish I'd had a lot of the information and advice over the last thirty years. We are putting it into practice, and can't wait until we can call the Dave Ramsey show and say we're debt free.

I have read other financial books and implemented what I could decipher. Dave Ramsey tells it straight in terms that the average person understands. I love this book.

Dave Ramsey really knows what he is talking about. This book could help anyone who is ready to get their finances into order. Definitely worth reading! It is very educational, but also enjoyable to read.

This is a fantastic, easy to read book that I feel has transformed the way I look at life-at the very least my finances. I read the book in one evening, and have already implimented Dave's practices. Dave makes even the non-believer realize there is light at the end of the tunnel. You do not have to be crazed with crunching numbers- which for me was a positive! I only wish I had heard about this book years ago!
