Warning: Blue part moves, 02/24/2010
By NikiNiki, Ohio
Overall Rating: 2 out of 5 2 out of 5

I don't like how the boy part moves on this (the little blue piece in the front). My son constantly is moving it up and down, causing it to not block the flow of what it's supposed to block. I worry about when he actually starts to go in this potty how much clean up I'm going to do because of it.

I also don't like how easily this seat comes apart. My son likes to take it apart. I have to keep it up from his reach, when I really want to keep it readily available.

My son loves it!, 02/11/2010
By mommyofcutness, Colorado
Overall Rating: 4 out of 5 4 out of 5

I LOVE this potty! I have a 3 1/2 year old boy who was NOT at all interested in potty training. He had come into the bathroom with his father and I, even his 5 year old brother, and had no interest in sitting on the big potty.

We got this potty and Logan loves it!! We had it a couple days before he wanted anything to do with it. He took off his diaper to urinate in this potty. It started playing music as soon as the urine hit the toilet!

The only con I have, is that its kinda hard for him to get on with the cup in place! Im glad its not sharp and folds down easily so that sensitive areas are protected, but I wish it were a little easier for him to get his bottom on the seat. However, I think this is something he will get used to and wont be so hard after a few days! This is our second day using this potty. NO accidents yet!!!

Not For Boys, 01/22/2010
By mom6X, Nixa, Mo
Overall Rating: 2 out of 5 2 out of 5

My little guy is 2 and we are just introducing the potty and he simply will NOT leave the urine cup alone, it comes off VERY easily!! It's more about playtime because he takes the cup off closes the lid, opens the lid sits on top of it, opens it again..uugh! So I thought ok I will attatch the seat to the toilet and it does fit my toilet fine..does move around a bit though. He did seem to like to sit on the big potty but again takes the urine cup right off...now since he saw me take the seat off the potty chair itself...thats one more thing for him to do as well. So now he takes the urine cup off, closes the lid, sits on top, opens the lid, takes the whole seat off, closes the lid...uugh! never even got to introduce the whole musical concept gonna just return this and get a cushiony seat w/less activity for him.....lol

My daughter loves this because it plays music when she has went to the potty. My friend bought a potty chair that doesn't play music or anything and she cant even get her daughter to go. She has even bribed her and sat with her and talked to her nice and nothing yet.

Buyer beware!, 10/01/2009
By Momofone09
Overall Rating: 1 out of 5 1 out of 5

I bought this potty for my son when we began potty training. At first it seemed to be a good potty, then it turned out not to be. The music I thought was neat, but it scared my boy to death, so I had to end up turning it off. The piddle guard it has on it isn't made for all little boys, they have to lean forward while using the potty to insure everything is covered. My son is in the stage where he wants to do everything himself, including using the potty, when he did, the guard didn't guard anything and I ended up cleaning it off the floor! The guard falls down way way to easy! It slides around way to easliy on the floor, when he sits down on it it scoots back which scares him. Doesn't give the child a very safe stable feeling. The lid/backrest is not very sturdy at all. It doesn't make a good step stool either what so ever due to it sliding. the potty has 3 different pieces and so urine gets in the cracks. I have put this potty away, which I should have thrown away, and I bought him the precious planet frog potty which I highly recommend!!!!!!!!!!

If I could do it over...I wouldn't buy this, 07/13/2009
By jdio, New York
Overall Rating: 2 out of 5 2 out of 5

We have two of these for our twin boys. There are to many parts. They love taking it all apart and putting it back together like a puzzle, urine goes in between the stool part and the seat, and they drag it around the bathroom to turn on lights, play in the sink...
It is more of a hassle to have then anything. Very hard to get them to focuas on sitting on the potty that is more like a cool toy.

Potty!, 05/28/2009
By an anonymous customer, Minnesota
Overall Rating: 4 out of 5 4 out of 5

This product does the job, however, my son is not totally ready for the potty yet, so he plays with it. It doesnt snap together so he can remove the parts with ease. This is frustrating because its more like a toy to him than anything else. Its cute and makes noise when you got in it, but if you just want to get down to business, maybe try something that doesnt come apart.

Great Stool, 04/16/2009
By likefindingdeals, Alpharetta GA
Overall Rating: 4 out of 5 4 out of 5

I bought this for my daughter to start potty training. She wanted to play with it rather than sit on it. She would take off the cup and turn it over to hit the button to play the music. I put off the training thinking she wasnt ready yet. I finally had to throw the cup away as she would not leave it alone. I have retried every couple of weeks since to no avail. Now she sees this potty as more of a stool and doesnt want to sit on it at all. I have made her sit on it for the last few days and when she goes, some goes in the potty and some goes up onto the front of the lid and on the floor. Now I wish I had the cup back.
I do agree that the music is great to let you know that she has gone. And it is a great stool for her to stand on at the sink to wash her hands or look at herself in the mirror.
So, great stool. But now I have to go buy another "potty".

Great Splash Guard, 03/26/2009
By KnJsMom, Owasso, Ok
Overall Rating: 5 out of 5 5 out of 5

Wish we would have found this first, this was the second potty we bought. The first was a mess but the splash guard on this one is great. I am very pleased that I don't have to wipe up the floor anymore. I was also a little concerned with the music being distracting but it never seemed to be a problem and now we just leave it off. We've been using this product for over 6 months and it is great. The back is not very supportive but we have it up against a wall and that resolved that issue. Our son is now using just the seat portion on the regular potty and it works great like that too.

My son loves that this potty sings once he uses the potty, however it is a little uncomfortable and he wont sit on it for more than five minutes. Really considering getting another potty that has a cushion set that way potty training can go alot smoother.

Very Disappointed in this Potty, 01/20/2009
By Mom2Lily957, North Carolina
Overall Rating: 3 out of 5 3 out of 5

I purchased this potty thinking that the reward music would be a great incentive since my little girl loves music so well. However, the sensor in the bottom of the potty is so sensitive and makes the music go off all the time. As soon as she sits down on it, the music starts playing repetitive. It has become very annoying. Even after she is finished and I have cleaned it out and place the catch bowl back onto the potty, the music will start playing. I would not recommend anyone purchasing this potty.

I sprung potty training on my 20mo old with this potty. I didn't want anything with distracting features but was willing to try this even though it played music. The musical sensors are located in a perfect place where he can't push a button or so on to make it play...only by pottying. I absolutely love it. When the music plays, he jumps up and runs for hugs and praise...and boy does he get them. It's the perfect size and he's quite tall at 38in.

Disappointed!!, 11/03/2008
By uscgwifeandmommy, Kodiak, Alaska
Overall Rating: 1 out of 5 1 out of 5

I was very disappointed with this potty. I thought it was cute, especially when it would congratulation my daughter when she used the potty, but she went several times and it never did. Then there were times where it would go off while I was in the shower and no one was there or even in the middle of the night. It also became a little difficult to clean after a while because of the metal chargers on it. I like to sanitize but it becamse increasingly difficult to avoid them. I just bought her a seat for the toilet and she loves that a lot more than her old tempermental potty.

By MomOfHappyBabyBOY, Hewitt, Texas
Overall Rating: 5 out of 5 5 out of 5

I recently bought this potty chair for my 1 yr old son.... he will soon be 13 months old. He loves using his new "potty." He isnt old enough to tell me that he needs to "go", but as soon as I put him on it -- he goes every time. We've only been using this about a week now, but he seems to be getting the hang of it. I hope the rest of the potty training goes this easy!! The music that plays after he uses it is a great reward.
