My daughter really likes this soother. I do too, although the battery life isn't that great if you use it at full capacity (i.e.: lights, movement and sound). I like that it shuts off automatically, but wish it had a dimmer on the light. It seems a bit bright when it's time for bed...even my daughter says it's too bright! All in all, though, I do like the product and would recommend.

Bought this soother for my daughters first Christmas. It really is cute and I like the lights & movements however... Right away I noticed the water in with the fish was half gone. There are bubbles the blow out to make the fish move, making it to look like it's swimming. But when the fish is out of the water, this feature does not work. Went to exchange it for a different one, but the ones in the store were even worse. I re-read the reviews and now I have to agree with most of them. The box does say 16 minutes of music but it only plays 8. The monkey swinging back and forth does develop an annoying squeak. So for the price we paid, we will be returning it and getting another crib soother of a different brand.

received as a gift with baby #1, 5 years ago, and now using it for baby #2. both have enjoyed it- captures their attention and soothes them to sleep. i was even able to safely attach this to the top corner of my graco pack n play for when baby sleeps in the play yard. music and sounds aren't annoying, but very calming. it is very sturdy and seems well made, plus very cute. might be nice if it could stay on longer sometimes or had a remote control, but otherwise great & useful!

I am a big fan of soothers. My first son loved his, so with our second son I knew I had to get another one. I like the different settings. I do wish that there was a separate button to adjust the time duration, because the settings of what type of music and light displays effect the time length. Other then that I like this product.

of air bubbles are just added touches to this item. It is very similar to the "Oceans Wonders Aquarium "

I love this & so does my Son. We use it, 1 other soother, & a mobile. When your child is at the stage of standing up & grabing things hanging over the crib, I recomend to get this. It conects to the side of the crib & is not able to be pulled down. It's easy to put on the crib & even the child can hit the button to turn it on if they wish. (I just wish they had the soother still on here that I bought thats a on the go one. Was a turtle that plays bach, beathoven, & many other songs. It's small & perfect for the car, near the bounce & swing, plus as a extra for if one the other soothers don't work.) My peprsonal opion for this soother is to have it for when they are in the stading & grabing stage more than anything else. All kids love mobiles & they are nice to have till they want to pull them down.

I love this. When I hurt my back and was unable to lay my son in his crib during nap/bedtime with out waking him I had a hard time. He was used to being rocked to sleep before going in his crib. When I told my husband I wanted to try this out and see if it helps us develop a new routine he thought it was going to be another wasted toy we were buying. Needless to say my son now goes to bed awake and while rubbing his belly and playing this he falls right to sleep. I never write reviews but this one deserved it!! I wish I would have bought this months ago.

I've had this crib soother for about 6 months and use it nightly. My daughter enjoys watching the moving monkey and bubbles and it helps her relax and go to sleep. The light is overly bright but she will turn away sometimes or put her head in the shade of a blanket and just go to sleep with the rainforest sounds.

I had originally picked up this item at a consignment shop a few years ago; however, my child loved it so much (very heavily used) that it eventually wore out. So when we were expecting again, we bought two -- one for the baby and one for the child who still loved it. I waited some time to pick it up as the price ranged over the $40 mark and then eventually it dropped to around $30 (in stores it was usually approx. $35-45). The button on the front is very easy to push on and off, even by a kicking infant. Along one side is a speaker. Along the other side are three switches. The first switch gives the options to play just instrumental music (baby version of classical), just nature sounds, or a combination of both. The second switch allows for just sound, sound + light (waterfall in the center stays lit, then lights slowly rotate on monkey, frog & fish) center of the soother), or sound+light+ animal movement (monkey swings, frog moves, bubbles under fish). The third switch gives 4 volume options (including 'off'), and the softest is actually quite soft. For some reason the two we purchased make a noise that is louder than the soft setting which is not something our previous one did. In the center is a monkey that swings, a frog that goes slightly up and down, and a fish in water with bubbles (only bubbles if the movement option is chosen). As our child got older, this ended up being a security nightlight that could be placed next to the bed and turned on as needed.

I purchased this product before for my Great-Grandson,he loved it, kept on his bed till almost 3. Now for my new Granddaugter so had to get her one She loves it too,just 4 months old! I absolutey love the music and movements in it. Like your at the Rainforest Cafe at Disney!

I bought this for my 2 1/2 month old for Christmas (she's 4 months old now) and she loved it then and still loves it today. It has 3 adjustable volume levels and it puts her right to sleep! It plays soothing songs and they're not too loud. Lullaby's really. She will lay and watch it until it automatically turns off. That's really the only complaint I have. After about 15 minutes it shuts off and you have to turn it back on but other than that it's a great buy and I'd recommend it to anyone!

This product was great. I plan to purchase another for my daughter. The first one I got in 2006 and it ended up in storage in the heat so the water evaporated inside. Other than that no problem. I love the versatility and all the different options. Its soothing, the light is great for if you dont want to turn a bright lamp on. My son used this every night for the first 3 years of his life.

I bought a Fisher Price -Take-Along Projector Soother in 2009 for my daughter and it worked fine for her. But my new baby doesn't like it much at all. I love the different options! When he's crying I just have to turn the sound up and light & motion on and he'll stare at it till he's tired. Then I turn the sound down and lights off and he falls asleep. Also, he only likes the nature sounds. So, I am so glad that they have the 3 options of music, music/sound, or sound. I wish the motion w/ sound lasted longer, it only last about 8 mins. But, lights & sound and just sound last about 12 mins. which is just enough time for my boy to fall asleep. I am so much more pleased with this than with the mobile I had with my first two kids.

The crib we bought for our first child does not allow us to attach a mobile, the wood is too thick. Our daughter is a very curious girl & seems to love the mobile on her swing, so we wanted to get her something for her crib. I looked high & low for a moving image light projector, but couldn't find anything, but then I came across this. Here's our opinions:
Pros
-Very soothing music reminds me of a spa
-Helps to calm our child
-Great for when I need to put her down for a few minutes to do something (ie: throw in a load of laundry)
-3 different settings; one with music only, one with music & lights, one with music/lights/movement
-Volume settings as well
-We do like this product & would buy it again, but it doesn't do what we orginally wanted, which was help our 4 month old ease into sleep.

I found this item on Amazon for $48, but did a price comparison at Walmart online & it was $30. Out of curosity I did a price comparison when I went into the store & it was being sold for $40 in the store. I recommend purchasing it online buy picking it up in a store (or have it delivered) to save some cash.
