It's fairly straightforward to assemble, but you'll scratch your head a couple of times. I think it's very attractive, and so far is working out fine. However, the shelves are weight rated--50 bottom, 35 middle fixed, 25 movable, and 0 top of bookcase. For hardcover books, you may be stretching capacity a bit. The top shelf is rated for '0' pounds weight, so make sure you keep any item up there very lightweight. Because of the way the bezel attaches, the shelves can be a hassle to move around and there are some spots you simply can't place them. Nevertheless, I mention these as points of interest. I like this bookcase even though it's about $30 overpriced.

I bought two, and the first took me an hour and forty-five to put together, and the second only an hour. Good quality parts. Only a minute amount of the fiberboard is visiable at the very bottom. I was impressed with the backing. That was my biggest concern was whether it would look off or right, and it's pretty good. OVerall, a good buy. A bit spendy though.

When I picked up the box from Site to Store, I was sure they made a mistake with the shipping due to the width was 31 inches and the box was so narrow. After putting it together in a couple hours by myself, I was sorry I didn't order 2 of them. This is a beautiful piece of furniture for the price I paid and no shipping charge. I looked online at various other home decor sites and saw similar items between $300-$500. This was worth the wait for the Site to Store shipping.

Sauder is a great product! Was glad to find it at Wal-Mart. Very easy to assemble. I own a desk and small bookcase by Sauder already. Company backs product 100% Wish they made a 36 inch 2 shelf bookcase to put in front of my window that matches.

This library unit was way better than what I was expecting. The unit is alot better than the older sauder products. Looks like a more expensive piece of furniture and is easy to put together! We did have 2 broken pieces in the box from shipping. We contacted the Sauder customer service and they were very helpful and shipped replacement parts out right away. We received them in 3 business day. In whole, we love the product, and service was top notch, and it looks beautiful!!!

The item was on the high side of what I wanted to pay but liked the look of it. It's always a little difficult to get a clear view via the internet. I really like the look of it and the size. The only downfall is the back is very flimsy. I would have wanted it to be made like the rest of the bookcase. Other than that its nice. I have actually bought 2 more to put together to make a unit in a room.

I purchased two of these, along with the one with cabinets. One of them was damaged when we received it, but quickly received replacement parts from Sauder with no hassle whatsoever. It took my husband about an hour to assemble each one. The maple color is true to the pics and will purchase Sauder products again.
