The machine worked for one hour then stopped working. The next day it worked for an hour then stopped working again. Since then, I have been to many company websites like Walmart to read the reviews of the product. I am aghast on how many people received faulty machines from the company The Singing Machine. Their products seem to be junk.
I really want an affordable karaoke machine but I guess it will not be from The Singing Machine. I feel like even if I returned it for one that works, it will most likely break after the 90 day warranty. Yes, that's right, only a 90 day warranty. That should tell us something.

This product is perfect for what we needed. I bought it for my boyfriend as a birthday present. He loves to sing karaoke so I thought it would be perfect to use at our small get together with friends. He and my son like to play on it at home too. It's fun and worth the cost.

Whan I finally got my karaoke machine I was so excited to use it. I was dissappointed when I began to play cds and after about 10 minutes it would stop reading the cds. I would have to wait awhile to turn it back it on and then it would play again for a short period of time and stop working again.

Ordered this for my daughter's 9th birthday and she absolutely loves it. In fact, it is a hit with the whole family. Everyone wants the microphone!!
Only thing that would make this particular karaoke machine better, would be if there were a way to record with it.
Otherwise it is fantastic and was the perfect birthday gift for her! Wal Mart carries great karaoke CD's that you can use with this as well.

I selected this particular model because of the built in tv screen. This way my daughter could do her singing while my boys could use the game room tv for their video games. The screen only works for one song and then it starts to blink and wave so that it is unusable. If you turn it off for a couple of songs and turn it back on then it will work for one song again before it begins to mess up. It was definitely not worth the extra money for the built in tv. My daughter now fights with her brothers over getting to use the tv.

This product is very easy for my 7 year old & 3 year old to use. The dual microphone jacks are helpful so both my kids can sing at the same time if they want to. The only thing that seems to be a problem is the sound isn't consistently the same, it goes up and down while a CD is playing, not sure why that is happening.

My daughter got this for Christmas and loves it. I like that it also has the ability to play the radio. I would say the only negative is that it doesn't have an easy carry handle. It has the slits in the sides which require you to use two hands to carry it around. Would have been nicer to have a carry handle. But I'm happy with the purchase.

I bought this for my daughters ages 6 and 8 for Christmas. I researched this product and found this had the best reviews and was in my price range. They have been singing on it non stop and seem very happy with it. I love the built in screen so we don't have to hook it up to the tv. So far we have no complaints. We bought this karaoke machine for our almost 7yo daughter for Christmas 08 & she is just thrilled! We chose this one over Barbie & Hannah Montana as we know that over the years she may become less inclined to use it if she's no longer interested in the characters.
